Pölstal is a market town since 2015 in the Murtal District of Styria, Austria.
Bezirk Murtal is a district of the state of Styria in Austria. It was formed on January 1, 2012 through a merger of the former Judenburg District and Knittelfeld District. Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, it consists of the following municipalities:

The municipality, Pölstal, was created as part of the Styria municipal structural reform, [3] at the end of 2014, by merging the former towns Oberzeiring, Bretstein, Sankt Johann am Tauern and Sankt Oswald-Möderbrugg. [4]

The municipality consists of the seven Katastralgemeinden Bretstein, Möderbrugg, Oberzeiring, St. Johann Schattseite, St. Johann Sonnseite and St. Oswald.
The municipality formed, together with Pusterwald and Pöls-Oberkurzheim, the tourism agency "Region Pölstal". The base is in the town Pölstal. [6]

Bezirk Judenburg was a district of the state of Styria in Austria. On January 1, 2012 Judenburg District and Knittelfeld District were merged to Murtal District.
Sankt Oswald-Möderbrugg is a former municipality in the district of Murtal in Styria, Austria. Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, it is part of the municipality Pölstal.
Pischelsdorf am Kulm is since 2015 a municipality in Weiz District in Styria, Austria. The area of the town covers 28.14 square kilometres (10.86 sq mi). In the Styria municipal structural reform, the new town was formed by merging Pischelsdorf in der Steiermark with the smaller villages of Reichendorf and Kulm bei Weiz, to reduce costs and ease election of town officials.
