Qaiser Hussain (born 28 November 1959) is a Pakistani former cricketer. He played thirty first-class and ten List A matches for several domestic teams in Pakistan between 1980 and 1986. [1] [2]

Sialkot cricket team Cricket team

The Sialkot cricket team in Pakistan is also known as the Sialkot Stallions. Its home ground is Jinnah Stadium Sialkot. It plays in first-class domestic competitions. It is a National Champion and has won several Quaid-i-Azam Trophy competitions including 2008-2009. It was national champion in 2005–2006 and won Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Championship. It was runner-up in 2003–2004 and 2006–2007. Sialkot Stallions also won ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup in 2005–2006, 2006–2007 and RBS Twenty-20 Cup in 2007–2008 and 2009–2010, making them the National Twenty20 Champions for 4 consecutive years. Sialkot Stallions were to represent Pakistan in Twenty20 Champions League in December 2008, before its postponement. They were runner-up in ABN-AMRO Cup National One-day Championship in 2004–05 and 2006–07. According to the latest Twenty 20 international ranking, Sialkot Stallions is at number one position. Sialkot is also the national champion of One-day and Three-day competitions of the National Under-19 Championship. They also have a record of 23 consecutive T20 wins in domestic cricket

It is named after 18th-century leader of Nizamani tribe in Sindh, Qaiser Khan Nizamani who founded the village after his son Gulham Ali Nizamani died there whilst Qaiser, his younger brother Aloda and their forces were moving north to their original home of Dera Ghazi Khan in Southern Punjab. Tando means fortified settlement and indicates original settlement founded by Qaiser was a militarily fortified settlement.

Farooq Qaiser

Farooq Qaiser in Lahore is a Pakistani artist, newspaper columnist, TV show director, puppeteer, script writer and voice actor. He has also written some comic books. Qaiser is well known for his fictional puppet Uncle Sargam introduced in 1976 in children's television show Kaliyan. Farooq is also a cartoonist, newspaper columnist and writes for the newspaper Daily Nai Baat in Lahore and is famous for his column-writing name Meethay Karelay.

Mamnoon Hussain

Mamnoon Hussain is a Pakistani politician and industrialist who served as the 12th President of Pakistan, in office from 2013 to 2018. He was first appointed as Governor of Sindh in June 1999 by President Rafiq Tarar; but was removed from the post a few months later due to the 1999 military coup d'état. Hussain was then nominated for the presidency by the PML-N in July 2013 and was elected through an indirect presidential election. Hussain took over the presidency after an oath administered by the Chief Justice of Pakistan on 9 September 2013. Hussain maintained a low-key profile as President and his role was rarely seen in the nation's politics, although he was involved in a Polio eradication program.

Qaiser Ashraf is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Lahore. He was the leading wicket-taker for Lahore Whites in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup, with sixteen dismissals in five matches. In March 2019, he was named in Baluchistan's squad for the 2019 Pakistan Cup.

Rizwan Hussain is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Lahore Whites in the 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 22 October 2016. He was the leading run-scorer for Lahore Whites in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with 497 runs in eight matches.

Shahid Hussain is a Pakistani former cricketer. He played 78 first-class and 37 List A matches for several domestic teams in Pakistan between 1986 and 1998.
