Qasim Abbas Khan is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from October 2018 till January 2023.
Khan was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from the constituency PP-222 in 2018 Pakistani by-elections as an independent candidate. He defeated Sohail Ahmed Noon of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Khan garnered 38,327 votes while his closest rival secured 31,893 votes. [1]

The Provincial Assembly of the Punjab is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Punjab,which is located in Lahore,the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan,having a total of 371 seats,with 297 general seats,66 seats reserved for women and 8 reserved for non-Muslims. The 17th Provincial Assembly of the Punjab was dissolved prematurely on 14 January 2023. The date of next elections in Punjab is being highly contested legally. The Constitution of Pakistan requires that new elections for the Punjab Assembly must be held within 90 days from the date of dissolution under Article 224(3)(a). Therefore,by law,new elections for the Punjab Assembly must have been held by 14 April 2023. However,the Election Commission of Pakistan had unilaterally announced that the province was set to elect a new legislature on 14 May 2023. After that date's passing,it is unclear when provincial elections will be held.

However,after several independents MPAs joined the PTI,the latter became the largest party and was able to form a government.

He was also the Senior Minister of Punjab and Minister of Food from 2020 to 2021. He also served as a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from August 2018 to 2021. He announced his separation from politics on Twitter in a tweet. Later in a statement to the media,he said that he had no intentions of joining politics again and that he would focus on the welfare work done through the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation but soon after the economic crisis and instability in Pakistan,he decided to join politics again and launched the political party along with renowned politician Jahangir Khan Tareen named the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party in June 2023 to help the nation. He is a founding member and president of the party.

Usman Dar is a Pakistani politician who was Special Adviser to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan,Imran Khan on Youth Affairs. He was in office from 3 December 2018 till his resignation from the parliament on 10 April 2022. He also held the position of Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme during his term.
