The Qatar Table Tennis Association is the governing body for the sport of table tennis in Qatar. [1] It is a member of the Arab Table Tennis Association, Asian Table Tennis Association and World Table Tennis. The president of the body is Khalil Almohannad. [2]
The Federation is currently based at the Al Bidda Tower in Doha.

The European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) is the governing body of the sport of table tennis in Europe, and is the only authority recognised for this purpose by the International Table Tennis Federation. The ETTU deals with all matters relating to table tennis at a European level, including the development and promotion of the sport in the territories controlled by its 58 member associations, and the organisation of continental table tennis competitions, including the European Championships.
Fenerbahçe Table Tennis is the men's and women's table tennis department of Fenerbahçe S.K., a major Turkish multi-sport club based in Istanbul, Turkey. The table tennis section of Fenerbahçe, which was founded in 1928, is the most successful in Turkey and one of the best in Europe, with the men's team having won the Turkish Super League 4 times and the Turkish Cup 11 times, among others. They were also ETTU Cup runners-up in the 2007–08 season, the best achievement for any Turkish team in European competitions so far. In the 2009–10 season they also reached the quarter-finals.

The European Table Tennis Championships is an international table tennis competition for the national teams of the member associations of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU). First held in 1958, the ETTU organised the European Championships every two years in even-numbered years until 2002, when they changed to odd-numbered years. Since 2007, the competition has been contested annually.

Sarah Hanffou is a Cameroonian table tennis player. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's singles. She beat Tvin Moumjoghlian in the preliminary round, before losing 4 - 1 to Xian Yi Fang in the first round proper.

Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) is a closed shareholding organization founded in 2005 and based in Doha, Qatar. Revenues generated from ventures of QSi are reinvested into Qatar's sport, leisure and entertainment sectors. QSi is led by Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Vice Chairman Adel Mohammed Tayyeb Mustafawi, and its board of directors has three additional members. According to Una Galani, QSi "is thought to be owned by the [Qatar] finance ministry and the Qatar Olympic Committee." QSi is subsidiary of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), the state-run sovereign-wealth fund in Qatar.
The GCC Games is a regional multi-sport event which involves participants from the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The GCC Games, a quadrennial multi-sport event, was established by the union and first held in 2011. There are numerous long-running GCC Championships for individual sports, including: the Gulf Cooperation Council Athletics Championships football, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, sailing, basketball, Swimming, Marathon Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, Artistic Swimming, tennis, gymnastics, weightlifting, futsal, snooker, Cycling, Chess and table tennis. The 3rd edition of the game had to be organized in June 2019, but held in 2022 due to the internal issues between the GCC state countries. The 4th edition has been announced and will happen as per the announced dates. For the first time the games will be organized by the new, young and talented faces of GCC team.
The Qatar Athletics Federation is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Qatar. It is a member of the Arab Athletics Federation, Asian Athletics Association and World Athletics. The president of the body is Dr. Thani bin Abdulrahman Al Kuwari.
A team representing England has competed in the European Championships since the second event in 2022.
The United Kingdom, under the designation Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has competed in the European Championships since the inaugural event in 2018. Great Britain is the most successful country at the European Championships, winning 50 gold medals and 134 overall. The country finished second in the medal table in both 2018 and 2022, but by total medals finished first in 2018 and joint first in 2022.
