Qatar Turkish School is a Turkish curriculum school based in Ain Khaled. The school is the first ever Turkish school to be opened in Qatar, it officially opened in December 2016. [1] [2] It is the only Turkish school in Qatar. The school is also relatively close to Doha British School, another school based in Ain Khaled. This school is directly controlled by the Turkish Embassy and continues its activities by being integrated into the Turkish Ministry of National Education school system (https://www.meb.k12.tr/index.php). It is manufactured and assembled by Turkish Land Forces at the 1010th Army Equipment Repair Factory using imported subsystems from Korea. It has an ongoing upgrade project dubbed as T-155 Fırtına II, possibly changing its engine to Turkish origin to avoid Germany's restriction on Turkey's defence sales.
Al Khor is a coastal city in northeast Qatar, located 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of the capital Doha. Considered one of Qatar's largest cities, it is the capital city of the municipality of Al Khor and Al Thakhira. Dating back to the 18th century, it is one of Qatar's oldest settlements. The name of the city, meaning creek in Arabic, emerged because the original settlement was built on a creek. Until the mid-1900s, it was known as Khor Al Shaqiq.

The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. This was the third time that the World Championship was hosted in the Middle East And North Africa, after Egypt in 1999 and Tunisia in 2005.

Ain Khaled is a Qatari district in the municipality of Al Rayyan. Located on the outskirts of the capital Doha, the area is historically known for its well which served the people of Doha and neighboring villages.
Hamad Port is Qatar's main seaport, located south of Doha in the Umm Al-Houl area. Construction of the port began in 2010; it became operational in December 2016. It was officially opened in September 2017, and is expected to become fully operational by 2020. Ain Al Nuaman is a village in north-west Qatar, located in the municipality of Ash Shamal. It is roughly 91 km away from the capital Doha, and is close to the ruins of Zubarah. Largely an agricultural settlement, the area is characterized by its large concentration of farms and gardens, with little else in the way of public infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Environment, there were about six households in the village in 2014.
