Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, popularly known as Qdot, is a Nigerian musician and a songwriter. [1] [2] He is known for his songs "Gbese", "Alomo meta" and "Emilokan". [3] He is the CEO of Yoruba Boi Music record label and the winner of the 2019 Best Indigenous Artiste Award. [3] [4] [5]

Early life and education

Qdot is the first born of his father. He obtained his SSCE certificate from United Secondary School and obtained his post secondary school certificate from Yaba College of Technology where he studied General Arts. [6]

Career

Qdot began his musical career when he was in elementary school. [4] He broke into limelight in 2013 with his songs "Alomo meta" and "Ibadan" where he featured another popular musician Olamide. [7] [8] Qdot majorly sings in Yoruba language. [9]

<i>9: Èsan</i> 2021 studio album by Brymo

9: Èsan, also known simply as Èsan, is the eighth studio album by Nigerian singer Brymo. It was released on September 9, 2021, along with 9: Harmattan & Winter. The album represents a change from the sarcasm of Libel and the hedonistic viewpoint of Yellow. Èsan comprises nine tracks and was produced and mastered by Mikky Me Joses. It was recorded entirely in the Yoruba language and is a mixture of alternative rock, afro-soul, sentimental ballad, and Yoruba folk music. Thematically, the album deals with masculinity, exuberance, self-adulation, narcissism, and promiscuity. Èsan was nominated for Best Alternative Album and Album of the Year at The Headies 2022.

Abisagboola Oluseun John popularly known as Bankulli or Osha, is a Nigerian music executive, A&R, talent manager, singer, and songwriter, pioneering the African pop culture. He is the founder and CEO of Bankulli Entertainment, known for housing recording acts, such as Basiil, and Konstance. He formerly served as the artiste manager of Mo' Hits Records, one of Africa's defuncted recording companies owned by Don Jazzy, and D’banj. As a talent manager, he managed D'banj's solo career after Mo' Hits.
