The Queen's Cup was an annual football cup competition in Thailand, run by the Football Association of Thailand. The competition was named after Queen Sirikit.

Contents

It was first contested in 1970, with Bangkok Bank and Royal Thai Air Force joint winners. The last competition was held in 2010.

Army United Football Club was a Thai football club under the stewardship of Royal Thai Army based in the Din Daeng District of Bangkok and is one of the oldest continuing football club in Asia until they decided to discontinue the club in the end of season 2019 with 103 years old. The club was founded in 1916 and was known as Royal Thai Army until November 2010. Their home stadium is known locally as the Thai Army Sports Stadium and more widely known around Asian circles as the Royal Thai Army Stadium of which has been host to numerous international youth matches due to its central Bangkok location. The club play in red shirts with red shorts and red socks. Despite finishing bottom of the Thai Premier League in 2010 they managed to regain their top-flight status after winning Group B of the Thai League Play-off in 2011.

The King's Cup is an international football tournament organised in Thailand by the Football Association of Thailand. The host, Thailand, is a participant in every edition. The tournament was founded in 1968, and has been held every year since, with the exception of 1983, 1985, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021. In some years, the competition has featured club or invitational teams as well as international sides. Various prominent footballers have participated in this tournament, including Cha Bum-kun, Sunil Chhetri, Peter Schmeichel, Jesper Olsen, Brian Laudrup, Henrik Larsson, Robert Lewandowski, Martin Škrtel, Milan Škriniar, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Football is the most popular sport in Thailand. Although the professional football leagues are new to Thai people, football was introduced to Thailand as far back as 1897. Many Thais also watch football on local and paid-cable TV. Many matches, especially those in the English FA Premier League can be watched free on local channels. Thai channels broadcast every match of the 2006 World Cup.

Super Power Samut Prakan Football Club is a Thai football club based in Samut Prakan province. This club plays in the Thai League 1.
