The Queen City Storm were a professional hockey team based in Evendale, Ohio, a Cincinnati suburb. The Storm were members of the All American Hockey League and played their home games at Sports Plus Cincinnati.
The Storm were approved for membership in the AAHL in August 2010. [1] The Storm suspended operations mid-season in January 2011 with some its players being sent to play for the Michigan Moose.
The All-American Hockey League (AAHL) was a minor professional hockey league formed in 1986 after the Continental Hockey League (CnHL) ceased operations. The league was created by the CnHL teams Danville, Dayton, and Troy adding the Downriver Stars and the Jackson All-Americans. In 1987, the AAHL absorbed the two remaining teams from Atlantic Coast Hockey League. After a single season in the AAHL, Carolina, Johnstown, and Virginia left the league to form the East Coast Hockey League. The AAHL only lasted one more season and folded after the 1988–89 season.
The Carolina Thunderbirds were a professional ice hockey team located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States. The Thunderbirds played their home games at the old Winston-Salem Memorial Coliseum before the arena was demolished in 1989. The team played in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League from 1981 to 1987, the All-American Hockey League during 1987–88 and finally moved into the newly created East Coast Hockey League in 1988.

The Evansville IceMen were a professional hockey team based in Evansville, Indiana. The team folded in 2010, as IceMen owner Ron Geary purchased the Muskegon Lumberjacks (1992–2010) of the International Hockey League and moved the team to Evansville, taking on the name "Evansville IceMen".
The Muskegon Lumberjacks was an International Hockey League ice hockey team located in Muskegon, Michigan. After the 2010 season, the team folded and Ron Geary, the owner of the Evansville IceMen of the AAHL, purchased the franchise rights of the former Muskegon Lumberjacks from the IHL. Geary then moved the franchise to Evansville, Indiana where they became the Evansville IceMen.

The Chi-Town Shooters were two professional ice hockey teams that played in the All American Hockey League. They played their home games at the Midwest Training & Ice Center in Dyer, Indiana. The "Shooters" name refers to the casinos in the South Shore region of northwestern Indiana.
The Johnstown Red Wings were a professional ice hockey team based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania They were founded as a member of the Eastern Hockey League in the 1979-80 season. The Red Wings were used as an affiliate to the Adirondack Red Wings of the AHL. At the time, Adirondack was the primary affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings.

The Michigan Moose were a professional ice hockey team which played in the All American Hockey League for one month in 2011. The team played its home games at Revolution Arena in Battle Creek, Michigan which it shared with fellow AAHL team, Battle Creek Revolution. The Moose were created in January 2011 using players from three other AAHL teams which had all ceased operations mid-season. The Moose would also cease operations in February 2011.
Thomas Acheson "Attie" Howard was a Canadian amateur ice hockey player in the era before professional ice hockey. He was a member of the 1896 Winnipeg Victorias Stanley Cup championship team. He later played in the American Amateur Hockey League (AAHL) and in the Western Pennsylvania Hockey League (WPHL) in the United States of America.

The league was founded in 1896, and was based in New York City and New Jersey, until 1914, when the Boston AA joined the league. In the 1900–01 season a team from Philadelphia, the Quaker City Hockey Club, also played in the AAHL. The league ceased operations after the 1916–17 season.

Maximilian Roland Hornfeck was an American amateur ice hockey center and speed skater active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Hornfeck played ice hockey for the Montclair Athletic Club, New York Athletic Club, New York Wanderers and New York Hockey Club in the American Amateur Hockey League between 1897 and 1908.
