Quintus Veranius (governor of Cappadocia)

Quintus Veranius was governor of Cappadocia in AD 18. [1] He was involved in the prosecution of Gnaeus Calpurnius Piso, who was accused of poisoning Germanicus, in 20. [2] After Piso's death in the same year, the emperor Tiberius conferred priesthoods on the prosecutors.

Piso was probably a Roman general whom the imperial pretender Macrianus Major sent to suppress the governor of Achaia, Valens Thessalonicus. 5to Piso is the eleventh studio album by Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, released on 18 November 2008.
