R'n'G are a Dutch hip hop duo, founded in 1996. Its members are rapper Ricardo Overman and singer/rapper Jerrel Koningsverdraag (Jay Delano). [1] [2] They were part of the Bravo All Stars charity group who recorded "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" in 1998 that peaked at #36 on the UK Singles Chart.

The genre then had a resurgence in the winter of 2007. The Polish PWN dictionary defines the genre as a Polish variant of disco music, with simple melodies and often ribald lyrics.

Dream was an American girl group from Los Angeles, California. After a successful audition, the group signed with rapper Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records label to release their debut studio album It Was All a Dream (2001), which peaked at number six on the Billboard 200. The album was preceded by the single "He Loves U Not" which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Following conflicts with their label, their second studio album Reality (2003) did not see a widespread release and the group disbanded. The single was released in July 2005 and became a hit due to the accompanying music video by Swedish director Deevo von Brahust, who is known for directing music videos for musicians such as AC/DC, Roxette and Sabrina. The video's screenplay was written by Bo Martin. The single was produced by Robert Janson for the Aurolac Studio and mixed by Prince Charles Alexander at Quad Studios with mastering by Tom Coyne at Sterling Sound Studio. "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" is a charity record released by the supergroup Bravo All Stars on 18 May 1998. The band consisted of Touché, The Boyz, The Moffatts, Scooter, Aaron Carter, the Backstreet Boys, Mr. President, NSYNC, Sqeezer, Blümchen, R'n'G and Gil Ofarim. The idea behind it was conceived by Alex Christensen, to benefit charity to the Nordoff–Robbins Music Therapy Foundation. Each artist took turns singing two lines from each verse, while all of the singers sang the chorus together. "Let the Music Heal Your Soul" reached number 36 on the UK Singles Chart in September 1998. The song also reached number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1998.

American singer Usher has released six video albums and appeared in forty-one music videos, eleven films, nine television programs, and four commercials. Usher released his debut single, "Call Me a Mack" in 1993 from the soundtrack Poetic Justice. Directed by Bille Woodruff, Usher appeared in the video for "You Make Me Wanna...", the lead single from his break-through album My Way (1997). The video shows Usher flanked by four dancers, to which the scene is then replaced by five clones of Usher performing dance routines around chairs. The latter song was sung by the singer on the sitcom Moesha, where he made his television debut. Usher appeared in four episodes for the show, portraying his character, Jeremy Davis.
