Rêves Mécaniques is the second solo album by The Hacker. It was released in 2004 on Different. The record features guest vocalists Perspects (Le Car), Mount Sims, and Miss Kittin.
Michel Amato, better known by his stage name The Hacker, is a French electroclash and techno producer who has worked extensively with Miss Kittin. His work has been influenced by electro artists like Kraftwerk, new wave artists such as The Cure and Depeche Mode, as well as the French rave scene of the early 1990s. His artist name comes from the Jeff Mills' track of the same name.
Le Car was an American electronic musical group from Detroit, Michigan, comprising Ian Clark and Adam Lee Miller. From 1995 to 1998, Le Car generated club techno and lo-fi electronica. Miller later went on to form ADULT.; Clark formed Perspects.
The Hacker and Miss Kittin performed the song "Masterplan" at the Sónar festival, which was included on Miss Kittin's album Live at Sónar . [2]
Sónar is an arts, design, and electronic and advanced music festival, founded in Barcelona in 1994 by Ricard Robles, Enric Palau, and Sergi Caballero. The festival has been divided into two parts since its inception: Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night, with Sónar+D, a three-day congress dedicated to Creativity, Technology and Business running concurrently since 2013. As well as the flagship event in Barcelona, Sónar hosts events around the world, with annual festivals currently taking place in Bogota, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Reykjavik and Istanbul.
Live at Sónar is the first live DJ mix album by Miss Kittin. For the Sónar festival, Miss Kittin provided impromptu new vocals to her classic catalogue. During the festival, she was assisted by Aphex Twin, Modeselektor, Boom Bip, and The Hacker.

Caroline Hervé, better known by her stage name Miss Kittin, is a French electronic music Record producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter. Since rising to prominence in 1998 for her singles "1982" and "Frank Sinatra" with The Hacker, she has worked with other musicians such as Chicks on Speed, Felix da Housecat and Golden Boy. She released her debut solo album I Com in 2004, a second, BatBox, in 2008, and a third, Calling From The Stars, in 2013. She achieved international popularity with the singles "Rippin Kittin" and "Silver Screen Shower Scene".
