The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland is not similarly integrated into its football league system. Founded in 1886, the SJFA is responsible for disciplinary matters within the grade, certain player registration procedures and organising the annual Scottish Junior Cup. Other league and cup competitions are organised by three regional committees. The association headquarters are at Hampden Park, Glasgow, which is Scotland's national football stadium. There was an earlier Scottish Junior FA, which was founded in Glasgow in October 1880. This body also ran a Scottish Junior Cup competition during 1880–81 season but appears to have disbanded at the end of that season.
The Scottish Junior Football Association, North Region is one of the two regions of the Scottish Junior Football Association. Its area covers Grampian and Moray as well as part of the Highland and Angus council areas – from Montrose in the south to Nairn in the west. The North Region features three region-wide divisions, having reverted from the previous setup of two regional divisions below the North Superleague used for five seasons prior to 2018. It replaced the North Junior Football League which had a similar territory and structure.
The Scottish Junior Football North Super League is the highest division of the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. It was established in 2001 and since 2007, the league champions have qualified for the following season's Scottish Cup.
The Scottish Junior Football North Division Two was a third-tier division of the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association from 2003.
The Scottish Qualifying Cup was a football competition played in Scotland between 1895 and 2007. During that time, apart from a brief spell in the 1950s, it was the only way for non-league teams to qualify for the Scottish Cup. The Qualifying Cup was open to all full member clubs of the Scottish Football Association, who were not members of the Scottish Premier League or Scottish Football League. In June 2007 the Scottish Football Association announced a new format for the Scottish Cup from season 2007–08 that would allow all full member clubs direct entry into the competition and consequently the Qualifying Cup competition was scrapped.
Culter Junior Football Club are a Scottish football club from the village of Peterculter, a suburb of Aberdeen. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the SJFA North Superleague. The club are based at Crombie Park and their colours are red and white.
Lochee United Football Club are a Scottish football club based in the Lochee area of Dundee. Formed in 1892, they currently compete in the SJFA East Super League North and play their home games at Thomson Park.

The 2010–11 Scottish Junior Cup was the 125th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The competition is sponsored by Emirates and is known as The Emirates Junior Cup for sponsorship purposes. Auchinleck Talbot won the competition for a record ninth time, defeating Musselburgh Athletic 2–1 after extra-time.
Ellon United Football Club are a Scottish football club from the town of Ellon, Aberdeenshire. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the North Super League. Founded around 1890, the club had also played in local Amateur and Senior competitions before joining the SJFA in 1974. They are based in The Meadows Sports Centre in Ellon along with Ellon RFC and local football sides. Club colours are red and black.
Buckie Rovers Football Club are a Scottish football club from the town of Buckie, Moray. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the North First Division. Rovers withdrew from the league early in season 2004–05 but rejoined the following year. The club used to share a ground with their larger Highland League neighbours Buckie Thistle but are now based at Merson Park in the Buckpool area of the town. The club colours are black and white.
Lossiemouth United Football Club were a Scottish football club from the town of Lossiemouth, Moray that were latterly members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, North Region. The original club formed in 1949, lasting for ten years. The current club date from 1962. Home matches are played at the Coulardbank Playing Fields where a pitch was enclosed to comply with SJFA regulations. In earlier years, United had shared Grant Park with their Highland League neighbours, Lossiemouth F.C.. Club colours were sky blue and white.

The North Junior Football League, also known as the North-East Junior League, was a football league competition operated in northern Scotland under the Scottish Junior Football Association which operated as the top league in the territory until 2001 when a new regional setup was established - although this was very similar to the previous setup.
