Rokometni klub Prevent Slovenj Gradec or simply RK Prevent was a team handball club from Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia.
Slovenj Gradec is a city in northern Slovenia. It is the centre of the City Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. It is part of the historical Styria region, and since 2005 it has belonged to the NUTS-3 Carinthia Statistical Region. It is located in the Mislinja Valley at the eastern end of the Karawanks mountain range, about 45 km (28 mi) west of Maribor and 65 km (40 mi) northeast of Ljubljana.
Nogometni klub Partizan Slovenj Gradec, commonly referred to as NK Partizan or simply Partizan, was a Slovenian football club which played in the town of Slovenj Gradec. The team was dissolved in 1995. ND Slovenj Gradec, which was officially founded in 2004, is legally not considered to be the successor of NK Partizan and the statistics and honours of the two clubs are kept separate by the Football Association of Slovenia.
