Janet Joy "Jaye" Robinson was a Canadian politician who served as a member of the Toronto City Council from 2010 to 2024. She was the chair of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) from 2018 to 2022. Robinson represented Ward 15 Don Valley West. She died in office on May 16,2024.

Jon Burnside is a Canadian politician and former police officer who was elected to represent Ward 16 Don Valley East on Toronto City Council following the 2022 municipal election. Michael Douglas Ford is a Canadian politician who has been the Ontario minister of citizenship and multiculturalism since June 24,2022. A member of the Progressive Conservative (PC) Party,he has represented York South—Weston in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since 2022. Ford previously served on Toronto City Council from 2016 to 2022. First elected as a school trustee in 2014,he later won a 2016 by-election for the council seat which was vacated upon the death of Councillor Rob Ford,before he was elected as a member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in 2022. He is the nephew of Doug Ford,the premier of Ontario and Rob Ford,the former mayor of Toronto. In mid-September 2024,he took an indefinite leave of absence from the Legislature.
Neethan Shanmugarajah (Neethan Shan) (Tamil:நீதன்சண்முகராஜா,romanized: NītaṉCaṇmukarājā;born December 24,1978),is a Canadian politician who represented Ward 42 Scarborough—Rouge River on Toronto City Council from February 2017 to November 2018. Shan was the first Tamil Canadian to sit on Toronto's City Council. Shan is currently the Vice-Chair of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Shan was elected to the TDSB in 2016 and again in 2022. Shan has sought public office 13 times since 2003;8 of which were municipally and provincially,5. She defeated fellow city councillors Alvin Tedjo,Dipika Damerla,Stephen Dasko,and 16 other candidates. Parrish was sworn in as mayor on June 24.
