The Radford Highlanders women's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Radford University. The team is a member of the Big South Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

Highlander players hold a number of Big South records, most notably for the current goalie Che' Brown (2010–present) who holds the records for goals against average (0.65), saves percentage (.874) and highest winning percentage (.726). Sue Williams (1992) holds the record for most assists per game (1.00).
Radford University is a public university in Radford, Virginia. It is one of the state's eight doctorate-granting public universities. Founded in 1910, Radford offers curricula for undergraduates in more than 100 fields, graduate programs including the M.F.A., M.B.A., M.A., M.S., Ed.S., Psy.D., M.S.W., and specialized doctoral programs in health-related professions. It is classified among "Doctoral/Professional Universities".
Ron Bradley is a retired men's college basketball coach. Bradley has been inducted into the Hall of Fame as a player at his high school (North Quincy, HS, College Eastern Nazarene, and the New England Basketball HOF. As a coach he has been inducted into the Radford University and the Big South Conference Halls Of Fame. He was drafted by the New York Nets in 1972 and holds a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has served as associate head coach at DePaul, Clemson, James Madison University, assistant coach for the University of Maryland, College Park and Longwood University, and the head coach at Radford University, where he led the team to its first NCAA tournament. He is a 1973 graduate of the Eastern Nazarene College, where he also served as head coach. In 2009, he was one of 20 semifinalists and later was named assistant coach of the year.
The Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team represents the University of Colorado Boulder. The team competes in the Pac-12 Conference of NCAA Division I. They are currently coached by Tad Boyle.

Men's sports include baseball. Women's sports include volleyball, lacrosse, track and field, and softball. The Highlanders compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Big South Conference.

The Georgetown Hoyas men's soccer team represents Georgetown University in all men's Division I NCAA soccer competitions. The Georgetown Hoyas joined the new Big East Conference on July 1, 2013, with other private schools from the former Big East Conference in which they previously competed. They won a national championship in 2019, and was the national runner-up in 2012. They have made nine total appearances in the NCAA Men's Division I Soccer Championship, and have won the Big East conference tournament four times and the regular season title seven times.

The 2013–14 Radford Highlanders men's basketball team represented Radford University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Highlanders, led by third year head coach Mike Jones, played their home games at the Dedmon Center and were members of the North Division of the Big South Conference. They finished the season 22–13, 10–6 in Big South play to finish in third place in the North Division. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big South Conference Tournament where they lost to UNC Asheville. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they defeated Oregon State in the first round before losing in the quarterfinals to Old Dominion.
The 2014–15 Radford Highlanders men's basketball team represented Radford University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Highlanders, led by fourth year head coach Mike Jones, played their home games at the Dedmon Center and were members of the Big South Conference. They finished the season 22–12, 12–6 in Big South play to finish in a three way tie for third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Big South Tournament to Winthrop. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they Delaware State in the first round before losing in the quarterfinals to Vermont.
Joseph James Raccuia is an American college baseball coach and former player. Raccuia played college baseball at Edison Community College from 1992 to 1993 before transferring to Radford University where he played in 1994 and 1996. Raccuia was the head coach of Radford from 2008 to 2019.
