Dr. Radwan al-Habib (born 1962) is the current Minister of Social Affairs and Labor for Syria,serving since 2011.
Al-Habib was born in the Aleppo Governorate in 1962. He earned a law degree from the University of Aleppo in 1986,a Diploma (Doctorate) in Advanced Studies in commercial law from the University of Gwatier in France,and a Ph.D. in corporate administration in 1997. He was a member of the People's Council of Syria for the Aleppo Governorate from 2003 to 2007 (8th assembly),and Vice President in the 9th assembly.
Al-Habib was a lecturer and later a faculty member of the Department (Faculty) of Law at the University of Aleppo. He was also a member of the Legal Office in the University of Aleppo branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party.
Al-Habib is married and has four children.

The Syrians referred include historical Syria or the Levant encompassing Syria,Lebanon,Jordan and Palestine. Syrian Christians tend to be relatively wealthy and highly educated.
Aleppo Governorate is one of the fourteen governorates of Syria. It is the most populous governorate in Syria with a population of more than 4,867,000,almost 23% of the total population of Syria. The governorate is the fifth in area with an area of 18,482 km2 (7,136 sq mi),or 18,498 sq. km,about 10% of the total area of Syria. The capital is the city of Aleppo.

The Syrian Salvation Government is a de facto alternative government of the Syrian opposition in Idlib Governorate,formed in early November 2017. There followed weeks of conflict between the Syrian Salvation Government (SSG) and the Syrian Interim Government (SIG),with reports of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) unilaterally disbanding several SIG-supported local councils across northwestern Syria. The SSG is led by a prime minister who is elected by a legislative body named the General Shura Council,which is headed by a president.

It initially included several colleges and institutes,then opened new branches,colleges and departments in the following years. A branch ofIdlib University was opened in Al-Dana in 2020. The Adel Safar government was the third Syrian government formed during the presidency of Bashar al-Assad. On 2 April 2011,President Bashar al-Assad issued Decree No. 134 designating Adel Safar to form a new Government. On 14 April 2011,the new Government was announced through Decree No. 136.
The first government of Hussein Arnous was formed on 30 August 2020 and took the oath of office on 2 September 2020. A new Council of Ministers was formed by Hussein Arnous at the appointment of President Bashar al-Assad. This government was the 94th since Syria gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1918 and was the seventh during the presidency of President Bashar al-Assad.
The second government of Hussein Arnous was formed after appointment by the President of Syria on 10 August 2021 and took the oath of office on 14 August 2021,after the presidential election held in May. This replaced the caretaker ministry formed in July. The government is the 95th since Syria gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1918 and is the eighth during the presidency of Bashar al-Assad.
Rashad Barmada was a Syrian politician between the 1940s and early 1960s. Barmada served as a deputy prime minister,minister of defense for three terms,minister of interior for two terms,and minister of education for three terms,and was elected as a member of the Syrian Parliament for three terms. He was the President of the Aleppo Lawyers Syndicate in 1949.
