Rahid Ulusel (full name Rahid Suleyman Khalilov) is an Azerbaijani scientist, senior researcher at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and professor at Western University (2005-2007). [1]
Rahid Ulusel was born in Kəlbəhüseynli village of Masally District of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 13 August 1954. Childhood of Ulusel is very vague, though its known that he lost his father when he was around 15-years-old and was brought up by his mother. [1] Graduated Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. The topic of his PhD thesis is “Contemporary Azerbaijani Philosophical Lyrics”. The total number of Ulusel's printed scientific publications is 215. [1]
The valuable works of Ulusel are about the actual problems of philosophy, aesthetics, culturology, philology and criticism. They were published in Azerbaijan and abroad. Ulusel is a member of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS, the International Federation of Philosophical Societies, vice-president of the Biocosmology Association for the Middle East. Rahid Ulusel represented Azerbaijan at several international congresses on humanitarian sciences (US, Sweden, Greece, Korea, etc.). [2]

Pan-Turkism or Turkism is a political movement that emerged during the 1880s among Turkic intellectuals who lived in the Russian region of Kazan (Tatarstan), South Caucasus and the Ottoman Empire, with its aim being the cultural and political unification of all Turkic peoples. Turanism is a closely related movement but it is a more general term, because Turkism only applies to Turkic peoples. However, researchers and politicians who are steeped in the pan-Turkic ideology have used these terms interchangeably in many sources and works of literature.
Azerbaijani literature is written in Azerbaijani, a Turkic language, which is the official state language of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where the North Azerbaijani variety is spoken. It is also natively spoken in Iran, where the South Azerbaijani variety is used, and is particularly spoken in the northwestern historic region of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani is also spoken natively in Russia, Georgia and Turkey. While the majority of Azerbaijani people live in Iran, modern Azerbaijani literature is overwhelmingly produced in the Republic of Azerbaijan, where the language has official status. Three scripts are used for writing the language: Azerbaijani Latin script in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Arabic script in Iran and Cyrillic script formerly used in Soviet Azerbaijan.
Gara Abulfaz oghlu Garayev, also spelled as Qara Qarayev or Kara Karayev, was a prominent Soviet Azerbaijani composer. Garayev wrote nearly 110 musical pieces, including ballets, operas, symphonic and chamber pieces, solos for piano, cantatas, songs, and marches, and rose to prominence not only in the Azerbaijan SSR, but also in the rest of the Soviet Union and worldwide.

The Organization of Turkic States (OTS), formerly called the Turkic Council or the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, is an intergovernmental organization comprising all but one of the internationally recognized Turkic sovereign states: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan; while Hungary and Turkmenistan are observers.
