Rainer-Wurz.com was an international mountain bike team owned and run by former MTB rider Markus Rainer and former Formula One driver Alexander Wurz.

The team was formed in 1995 as Rainer Bike Team by Markus after he retired from top-line riding after a severe accident at the United States World Cup round of 1990. In 2000 Markus joined forces with then-Benetton Formula driver and fellow Austrian Wurz. [1] After two successful years, the team were joined in 2003 by bike manufacturer Cannondale and mobile phone corporation Siemens as sponsors, becoming the Siemens Cannondale MTB team. [2] [3]

Riders included Cedric Gracia (downhill) and Christoph Sauser (cross-country).

The Benetton Formula team was chaired by Alessandro Benetton from 1988 to 1998.

2007 Formula One World Championship sports season

The 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship was the 61st season of FIA Formula One motor racing. It featured the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship, which began on 18 March and ended on 21 October after seventeen events. The Drivers' Championship was won by Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen by one point at the final race of the season, making Räikkönen the third Finnish driver to take the title. An appeal by McLaren regarding the legality of some cars in the final race could have altered the championship standings, but on 16 November, the appeal was rejected by the International Court of Appeal, confirming the championship results. Räikkönen entered the final race in third position in the drivers' standings, but emerged as champion after the chequered flag, a feat first accomplished by Giuseppe Farina in 1950. It has since been accomplished again, by Sebastian Vettel, in 2010.

Markus Winkelhock is a German professional racing driver, who has taken part in one Formula One Grand Prix, which he briefly led. He is the son of Manfred Winkelhock and nephew of Joachim Winkelhock, both of whom were Formula One drivers in the 1980s. Having switched to sports and touring car racing, he has also won the FIA GT1 World Championship in 2012 with team-mate Marc Basseng.

David Juarez is an American former professional BMX and cross-country mountain bike racer. His prime competitive years in BMX were from 1978 to 1984 and in mountain bike racing 1986 to 2005. Since late 2005, he has competed as a Marathon mountain bike racer. In all three disciplines, he has won numerous national and international competitions. Roel Paulissen Olympic cyclist

Roel Paulissen is a Belgian professional mountain biker. Throughout his sporting career since 1993, he has won more than ten Belgian national championship titles, mounted top-five finishes at both the European and World Cup series, and claimed a total of four medals, including two golds, in men's cross-country race at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. Paulissen also represented his nation Belgium in four editions of the Olympic Games, where he competed in men's mountain biking since it officially became an Olympic sport in 1996. By the start of the 2010 season, Paulissen had been overshadowed by a doping issue after he tested positive for clomiphene that sidelined and effectively ended his mountain biking career. Having lifted a two-year suspension from doping in early 2013, Paulissen came out from his short retirement to join and race professionally for the Italian team Torpado.

The 2015 season for the Cannondale–Garmin cycling team began in January at the Tour de San Luis. As a UCI WorldTeam, they are obligated to send a squad to every event in the UCI World Tour.
