Raja Ka Tal is a reservoir and town built by Senapati, the grandson of Maharaja Chhatrasal, in 1707. It is locally known as Bara Tal.

The town is located on National Highway 19. The population of the town is over 10000. It also connects to the Indian railway's Howrah–Delhi main line.

The town has a large glass production industry, which exports internationally.

The village is a descendant of the family of Aath-Pariya (Zamindar).
