Music of Nepal refers to the various musical genres played and listened to in Nepal. With more than fifty ethnic groups in Nepal, the country's music is highly diverse. Genres like Tamang Selo, Chyabrung, Dohori, Adhunik Geet, Bhajan, Filmi music, Ghazal, Classical music, songs and Ratna music are widely played and popular, but many other less common genres are yet to be cataloged. Western musical genres like Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B also regularly feature on the Nepalese music charts. Most of the country's musical bands are based in the Kathmandu valley. Musical genres from Tibet and India have greatly influenced Nepalese music.
Makwanpur District(Nepali: मकवानपुर जिल्ला; Listen , a part of Bagmati Province, earlier a part of Narayani Zone, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Hetauda as its district headquarter, as well as pradesh headquarter covers an area of 2,426 km2 and had a population of 392,604 in 2001 and 420,477 in 2011.
Manang Marshyangdi Club is a Nepali professional football club based in Kathmandu, that competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. Gurung is a common surname among people of the Gurung Tamu ethnic group in Bhutan, Nepal and India, as well as among other groups who are not ethnically Gurung. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, 798,658 people identified as Gurung. Gurung people predominantly live around the Annapurna Region in Manang, Mustang, Dolpo, Kaski, Lamjung, Gorkha, Parbat and Syangja districts of Nepal. They are one of the main Gurkha tribes and have been established as one of the successful indigenous communities in Nepal. Most of the Gurung people serve in the military, farming, entertainment industry, business, and politics.

Sagar Thapa is a footballer from Nepal, and was until October 2015 the captain of the national team. He made his first appearance for the Nepal national football team in 2003. Since then, Thapa has represented his country in 50 international matches which puts him behind only Bal Gopal Maharjan and Upendra Man Singh. In October 2015, five members of the All Nepal Football Association, including Sagar Thapa and Sandip Rai, were arrested for match fixing. He was supposed to take 5 lakhs per fixed match.
Bijaya Gurung is a Nepali team midfielder who currently plays for Three Star Club. Gurung was the last player in the national team from the first batch of ANFA Academy. He was considered one of the most skillful and talented player of his generation. Bijay, who started his professional football career from NIBL Friends Club in 2004. After spending one season with Friends, he joined Three Star and stayed there till 2009 winning ‘A’ Division League along with numerous knockout tournaments. After donning Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyagdi Club jersey for a season in 2010, Bijay returned to Three Star and helped the team lift League title for the second time.

The 2013–14 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League season, also known as the Martyrs' Memorial Red Bull 'A' Division League Football Tournament 2013–14 for sponsorship reasons, was the 41st edition of the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League since its establishment in 1954/55. A total of 13 teams competed in the league. The season began on 30 December 2013 and concluded on 1 March 2014.
Kabaddi is a 2014 Nepali romantic drama film written and directed by Ram Babu Gurung. It portrays the story of a love triangle among three central characters. The film was produced by Raunak Bikram Kandel, Nischal Basnet and Sunil Rauniyar and starred Nischal Basnet, Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung and Rajan Khatiwada. The film was released on April 25, 2014 with extremely positive review from critics and audience for its rawness, screenplay, performances and direction. The became a blockbuster at the box office and remains cult classic film of Nepali cinema. The film is also considered as a landmark in film in modern Nepali cinema. The film had two sequels, Kabaddi Kabaddi was released in November 2015 which also became huge success critically and commercially. Its third part Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi was released on 20 September 2019 and became the highest grossing film of the franchise and one of the highest grossing films ever in Nepal. Now, Its forth part Kabaddi 4: The Final Match has hit to the theatres on 27 May 2022 and has broke all records of Nepali Cinema till now.
Dipak Rai is a Nepali professional footballer who currently plays for Manang Marshyangdi Club as a forward.
