Rajashree is an Indian actress known for her works in Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, Malayalam cinema and television. She made her debut as the lead character in Bharathiraja's 1994 Tamil film Karuththamma . Since then she has appeared in over sixty films.[ citation needed ]

Career

Actress Rajashree made her debut in Tamil Cinema with Bharathiraja's Karuthamma. Winning laurels for her prodigious performance, she later appeared in Sethu , Nandha , Run , Manasellam , and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu . Rajashree has had prominent roles around 57 films in Telugu and Tamil. Apart from the silver screen, she appeared in the TV series Aalayam, Agal Vilakku, Mandhira Vasal and Sivamayam.[ citation needed ]

Personal life

Rajashree's sister, Bobby, has also appeared in films as an actress. [5]

Rajashree married Ansari Raja, and proprietor of "Body Shape Gym" in 2009. [6]

Karuthamma is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language drama film produced and directed by Bharathiraja from a story by M. Rathnakumar. The film stars Raja, Rajashree and Maheswari, with Saranya, Periyar Dasan, Ponvannan, Vadivukkarasi, Vaani, Vadivelu, and Janagaraj in supporting roles.
