Rakesh Krishnan (born 23 July 1983) is an Indian cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who has played for Bengal. He was born in Calcutta.
Krishnan made his debut cricketing appearances for the Bengal Under-16s team, batting in and around the opening order. He played five games for the team in the Vijay Merchant Trophy competition of 1998–99, in which Bengal reached the semi-final of the competition, before being eliminated from the competition following a draw against Punjab.
Krishnan made a single first-class appearance for the team, in the Ranji Trophy competition of 2004–05, against Delhi in December 2004. Batting in the upper-middle order, he scored 13 runs in the first innings of the match, and 34 runs in the second.
Krishnan has been playing first-division cricket for the major cricket clubs in Bengal. Currently, he's playing for Mohan Bagan club. Recently he smashed 101(40) not out in the local club one day competition

In the 2018 Asia Cup which Dhawan won with his national side, he was named Player Of The Tournament as he was the top scorer of the tournament with the bat.
Manoj Kumar Tiwary is an Indian international cricketer who is also a politician. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls occasional leg break. Tiwary represents Bengal in domestic cricket and has represented multiple IPL franchisees like Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Rising Pune Supergiants across multiple editions of the Indian Premier League. He played One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals for the Indian national cricket team. In 2021, he joined All India Trinamool Congress political party and was elected to the West Bengal Legislative Assembly later in the year.
Amarjit Kaypee is an Indian former cricketer. He was primarily a right-handed batsman, and he held the record for the most runs scored in the Ranji Trophy, India's premier domestic first-class cricket competition for a number of years before Amol Muzumdar took the record in 2009. However, despite his success, he was never selected for the Indian national team, an unfortunate feat he shares with the man who broke his record.

The 1936–37 Ranji Trophy was the third edition of India's first-class cricket championship. Matches were played from 3 December 1936 to 10 February 1937 with a total of 17 teams participating. The sides were divided into four zonal groups, but the tournament utilised a knockout format. Fifteen of the 1935–36 teams returned but Northern India did not. The two newcomers were Bihar and Nawanagar, who won the title at the first attempt after defeating Bengal by 256 runs in the final.
