Ralph Jezzard (born 16 January 1966) is a British music producer based in London, England.
Jezzard started playing in bands at the age of 14 including Case. At 16 he started working at Wickham Studios in South London as a tape operator, and the first record he engineered was a band called Blood and Roses' EP, which reached number 4 in the UK indie charts in 1983. From there he began engineering full-time in the studio working with various punk bands including Angelic Upstarts, Cock Sparrer, The Business, The Damned, Chiefs of Relief and The Sid Presley Experience.
He then moved to the Beat Farm Studios in London Bridge as the Acid House scene was emerging in Britain and worked with Rhythm King acts such as Bomb The Bass and Merlin. The combination of electronica and punk/rock music led to his first production job with EMF's worldwide hit "Unbelievable" which reached No. 1 in the US.
Ralph continued working with rock/alternative bands throughout the 90s including The Wildhearts, Senseless Things, Claytown Troupe, Chapterhouse and more. See full credits below for more details.
A friendship with Wildhearts drummer Ritch Battersby led to the formation of Grand Theft Audio along with Chris McCormack from 3 Colours Red and Jay Butler from Real TV. The band were soon signed to London Sire and toured extensively in the US and Europe. Their only album was called Blame Everyone and had notable success with the songs "Stoopid Ass" and "We Love You" getting inclusion on soundtracks for Dude, Where's My Car? , Hole, Driven, American Pie 2 and many more. The songs were also featured on computer games including Gran Turismo 3 .
In 2003 Grand Theft Audio split up. All band members went their own way and Jezzard moved to Texas where he continued production and engineering at Willie Nelson's studio in Austin. In 2005 Jezzard returned to the UK after recording Valor Del Corazon with Ginger from The Wildhearts. During this time he met his wife, music marketing consultant Sammy Andrews who was managing Ginger and the release of Valor Del Corazon.
Shortly after returning to the UK he co-produced Amy Studt's album My Paper Made Men in Eden Studios for 19 Entertainment and mixed live tracks for Simple Kid
Ralph is currently writing and producing songs with Cass Browne (Gorillaz) and mixing a record for UK band Fearless (Mercury Records UK).

The Wildhearts are an English rock band, formed in 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound is a mixture of hard rock and melodic pop music, often described in the music press as combining influences as diverse as the Beatles and 1980s-era Metallica. The Wildhearts achieved several top 20 singles and two top 10 albums in Britain, though they also faced difficulties with record companies and many internal problems often relating to drugs and depression. Much of the band's early career was affected by bitter feuds with their record company, East West.
Apollo 440 are a British electronic music group formed in Liverpool in 1990. The group has written, recorded, and produced five studio albums, collaborated with and produced other artists, remixed as Apollo 440 and as ambient cinematic alter-ego Stealth Sonic Orchestra, and created music for film, television, advertisements and multimedia. They notched up ten UK top 40 singles with three top-tens, and had a chart presence worldwide.
Wolfsbane are an English heavy metal band, active from 1984 to 1994, and again since 2010, following two brief reunions. To date, the band has released five studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, two EPs and three demos. Wolfsbane are now notable for being vocalist Blaze Bayley's band before he went on to replace Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden and then pursue a solo career. In addition to Bayley, the band's current lineup includes guitarist Jason "Jase" Edwards, bassist Jeff Hateley and drummer Steve Danger.
3 Colours Red were an English rock band, formed in 1994 in London. They achieved their biggest chart success at the end of the 1990s, along with other British rock bands such as Ash, Stereophonics and Feeder. The band was named by sticking a pin in a London listings magazine, Time Out. It landed randomly on an advertisement for the concluding part of the Polish film director Krzysztof Kieślowski's, Three Colors, trilogy. They went on to record two UK Top 20 albums, and six Top 40 singles.
The Yo-Yos are a British rock and roll band, formed in 1998 by ex-The Wildhearts bassist, Danny McCormack and Tom Spencer, after the two met at a Toy Dolls recording session. The Yo-Yo's recruited Andy Selway (Bladz) on drums and guitarist Neil Phillips to the band.
Towers of London are an English punk rock band, who formed in 2004. Their music mixes elements of rock and glam metal music with 1977 style British punk. The band have divided the opinions of the British music press since their emergence in early 2004, gaining positive reviews from some music news media and extremely negative reviews from others.

Endless, Nameless is the third studio album by English rock band The Wildhearts, released in 1997. It was the band's first release on Mushroom Records and their only full album with guitarist Jef Streatfield. The songs "Urge" and "Anthem" were released as singles. The album reached no. 41 on the British album chart.
Valor Del Corazon is the first solo album to be released by Ginger. It initially had a limited mail order release on 19 December 2005, with a full release to the shops on 9 January 2006 and features 19 tracks spread across two CDs. The album was produced by Ralph Jezzard who had previously produced the Wildhearts album Endless, Nameless.

Hey! Hello! are an international power pop band, formed by the English singer-songwriter, Ginger Wildheart. The band's initial incarnation for the debut album consisted of Ginger Wildheart and New York City-based singer Victoria Liedtke. Liedtke was replaced by Love Zombies singer Hollis Mahady in 2015, with Toshi, Ai Sugiyama and The Rev joining the lineup. Mahady left the band in 2016, and auditions were held to replace her. According to Ginger, the band's name was chosen by his son, who had misheard the Ramones lyric "Hey Ho, Let's Go".
Grand Theft Audio are a British rock band formed in London, England in 1998. They were signed to London-Sire Records in 1999 and produced their only album at the time Blame Everyone in 2000 until the band split up in 2003 due to the record label being dissolved that year. Their original line-up was ex-3 Colours Red guitarist Chris McCormack, producer and bassist Ralph Jezzard, frontman; vocalist and ex-Real TV star Jay Butler and ex-The Wildhearts drummer Ritch Battersby. The band, minus McCormack, announced on their website page that they were reforming with a new album in the works.
Blame Everyone is the debut studio album released by British rock band Grand Theft Audio, which received generally positive reviews. It was released in October 2000 in the United Kingdom under London-Sire Records.
The Godfathers, also known as the Orange Album, is the fifth studio album by English rock band the Godfathers, released on German label Intercord in 1993. It was the band's first out of two albums for the label, and the only studio album to feature drummer Ali Byworth. It has become known as the Orange Album because of the citrus fruit appearing on its cover. The album was reissued in 2013 through the Godfathers' own Godfathers Recordings label, including a bonus disc of demos and live tracks.
