Mahant Sri Ramchandra Das Paramhans (1913-2003) was head of the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas in Ayodhya. He was born as Chandreshwar Tiwari into a prosperous Brahmin family in the Indian state of Bihar. [1] After his death, Mahant Dharam Das succeeded him as his legal heir. [2] Mahant Nritya Gopal Das succeeded him as head of Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas in 2003.

Kesava Parasaran is a lawyer from India. He was Advocate General of Tamil Nadu during President's rule in 1976, Solicitor General of India under the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and then, Attorney General of India under Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi between 1983 and 1989, till the end of Rajiv Gandhi's tenure. Parasaran was awarded the Padma Bhushan in the year 2003 and Padma Vibhushan in the year 2011. In June 2012, he received a presidential nomination to the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of India's parliament, for a period of six years. He is a member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Initially, The Central Government in 2019 appointed him to lead the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Subsequently, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was appointed to lead the trust. The trust will oversee the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Shri Paramhans Swami Advaitanand Ji Maharaj, also known as Shri Paramhans Dayal Maharaj Ji, son of Shri Tulsi Das Ji Pathak, was born in Chhapra City at Saran District, Bihar, India. Shri Paramhans Dayal Maharaj Ji is also known as the "First Spiritual Master" of the [Shri Paramhans Advait Mat]. He initiated the "Second Master", Shri Swami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj in the early 1900s. He was born on the day of Rama Navami and was therefore named as "Ram Yaad ". His father was a famous scholar Pandit Tulsi Pathak. His mother died a few months after his birth and he was brought up by his father's disciple Lala Narhari Prasad. Shri Narhari Prasad arranged for his education. Shri Ramyaad gained good knowledge of Sanskrit, Hindi, and Arabic. At the age of five, his father Shri Tulsiram Ji died.

Ayodhya firing incident

The Ayodhya firing incident describes the occasion when the Uttar Pradesh police fired live ammunition at civilians on two separate days, 30 October 1990 and 2 November 1990, in the aftermath of the Ram Rath Yatra. Baba Lal Das was the former court appointed chief priest of the Ram lalla idols inside the Babri Masjid of the Ayodhya dispute in India. He was considered a star witness in the Babri Masjid demolition case and a vocal opponent of the Vishva Hindu Parishad campaign to build a temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi site. He was murdered on 16 November 1993.

Nritya Gopal Das

Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is the head of Ayodhya's largest temple, the Mani Ram Das Ki Chavani, and the chief of the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, bodies formed to undertake the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He is also the head of the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan.
