Randy Fenoli is an American television presenter and fashion designer who is mainly known for his work on wedding dresses and his own TV show Randy to the Rescue and Say Yes to the Dress . He was the fashion director for the wedding dress store Kleinfeld Bridal from 2007 to 2012. [1]

Biography

Born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Fenoli grew up with a love of fashion and began sewing dresses when he was only nine years old, eventually expanding his efforts into the areas of make-up artistry, hair styling and entertainment. After winning the Miss Gay America competition in 1990, performing as Brandi Alexander, [2] he used the prize money to enroll at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology. He was offered a job working for Vivian Dessy Diamond, of the Vivian Diamond company. Subsequently, his design experience paid off when he was offered a job at Kleinfeld. He is now an independent consultant. [3]

He has been a fashion designer since 1992. In 2007, Fenoli made his television debut on the U.S. cable channel TLC with Say Yes To The Dress, where his wit and fashion sensibilities charmed viewers. Since 2011 he has hosted Say Yes to the Dress: Randy Knows Best , broadcast in Spain and Italy, and Randy to the Rescue.

In 2022, it was announced that Fenoli became godfather of the Discovery Princess cruise ship. [4]

Randy to the Rescue is an American reality television series that aired on the TLC cable network, starting June 15, 2012. Each episode of the series shows Randy Fenoli as he helps brides pick out the perfect wedding dress for their special day. The show was a spin-off of the highly popular Say Yes to the Dress franchise. The series concluded on August 2, 2013 when it was not renewed for a third season.

Say Yes to the Dress: Australia is an Australian reality television series on TLC, based on the American format of the same name, which premiered on 26 October 2016. It followed couture wedding gown designer Adam Dixon help brides find their perfect wedding dress while shopping at bridal salons, with the help of a team of specialists. Auditions were opened in May 2016. The program was the first local commission for TLC in Australia.

Say Yes to the Dress is a reality television programme which started out as an American version and an Australian version. The UK version started on the TLC channel in 2016. In 2017, it featured the reality TV personality, Olivia Buckland. The first series was in 2016, the second series was in 2017.
