<i>Prem Pujari</i> 1970 film by Dev Anand

Prem Pujari is a 1970 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film produced, directed and written by Dev Anand for Navketan Films, his directorial debut. The movie stars Dev Anand, Waheeda Rehman, Shatrughan Sinha, Prem Chopra, Madan Puri and a then-unknown Amrish Puri. It has several popular songs composed and directed by S. D. Burman. The songs were written by Gopaldas Neeraj. The film was a commercial failure. However, the music album is regarded as a masterpiece among classical Hindi film music aficionados, particularly the songs "Shokhiyon Mein Ghola Jaye" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar, "Phoolon Ke Rang Se" sung by Kishore Kumar and "Rangeela Re Tere Rang Mein" sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Jayant Desai was an Indian film director and producer. After graduating from the University of Bombay Desai joined Ranjit Studios in 1929 where he directed numerous films including Toofani Toli (1937), Tansen (1943), Har Har Mahadev (1950) and Amber (1952). Tansen was the second highest grossing Indian film of 1943. Besides film direction he also acted in several films. In 1943 he left Ranjit Studios to found his own production company, Jayant Desai Productions. In 1960s he founded Jupiter Films and Hemlata Pictures.

S. Raamanathan was an Indian film director and producer. He began as an Assistant Director in Indian cinema from 1951 until 1958, then he worked as a Director in Indian cinema. In the 1970s he worked in the Hindi industry with Amitabh Bachchan on several occasions such as in Bombay to Goa (1972) and Mahaan (1983). Zamaanat, a project with Bachchan which had been delayed since 1996, was still awaiting release in 2014. He produced several Kannada films along with his brother Shivaram and formed the home banner "Rashi Brothers". He died on 9 January 2013 in Chennai.

Lehar Khan is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi films. She made her debut in 2012 with the film Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid (2012) in the leading role as a child actor. Hum Hain Kamaal Ke is a 1993 released Bollywood action & comedy film. The film had a multi star cast; Sheeba, Sujoy Mukherjee, Kader Khan, Anupam Kher, Aruna Irani, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Raza Murad and Rucha Gujarathi. This movie was produced by Ashok Adnani, directed by Vijay Reddy and story was written by Anwar Khan. The film is loosely based on the 1989 American film See No Evil, Hear No Evil which was also the inspiration for Marathi movie Eka Peksha Ek, Tamil movie Andipatti Arasampatti and Kannada movies Akka Pakka and Baduku Jataka Bandi.

Jawan ( transl. Soldier) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee in his Hindi film debut. It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as father and son who team up to rectify corruption in society. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra appear in supporting roles.
