The Netherlands Antilles was a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The country consisted of several island territories located in the Caribbean Sea. The islands were also informally known as the Dutch Antilles. The country came into being in 1954 as the autonomous successor of the Dutch colony of Curaçao and Dependencies, and was dissolved in 2010. The former Dutch colony of Surinam, although it was relatively close by on the continent of South America, did not become part of Netherlands Antilles but became a separate autonomous country in 1954. All the island territories that belonged to the Netherlands Antilles remain part of the kingdom today, although the legal status of each differs. As a group they are still commonly called the Dutch Caribbean, regardless of their legal status.
The Netherlands Antilles national football team was the national team of the former Netherlands Antilles and was controlled by the Nederlands Antilliaanse Voetbal Unie. The NAVU consisted of Curaçao and Bonaire. Aruba split in 1986 and has its own team.
The Philips Stadion is a football stadium in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and it is the home of PSV, also known as PSV Eindhoven. With a capacity of 35,000, it is the third-largest football stadium in the country. Established as the Philips Sportpark, it was constructed as a sports field for Philips employees in 1910. The Philips Elftal played football matches from 1911 until 1913, when the team was succeeded by PSV. Since 1913, PSV has used the original ground as its home stadium.
Princess Juliana International Airport is the main airport on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten. The airport is located on the Dutch side of the island, in the country of Sint Maarten. In 2015, the airport handled 1,829,543 passengers and around 60,000 aircraft movements. The airport serves as a hub for Windward Islands Airways and is the major gateway for the smaller Leeward Islands, including Anguilla, Saba, St. Barthélemy and St. Eustatius. It is named after Queen Juliana, who landed here while still only heir presumptive in 1944, the year after the airport opened. The airport has very low-altitude flyover landing approaches, owing to one end of its runway being extremely close to the shore and Maho Beach. There is also an airport on the French side of the island, in the French Collectivity of Saint Martin, called Aéroport de Grand Case or L'Espérance Airport.
Hrazdan Stadium is a multi-use, all-seater stadium in Yerevan, Armenia, opened in 1970. Being the largest sports venue in Armenia, Hrazdan is mostly used for football matches. It is the home stadium of the Armenian national team. The stadium is able to host 54,208 spectators after the most recent reconstruction in 2008, which converted the stadium into an all-seater one. Before the reconstruction, Hrazdan was able to hold up to 70,000 spectators. It was among the top four stadiums of the Soviet Union by its capacity. The stadium hosted the Armenian Cup finals during many occasions as well as the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games in 2003. The USSR national team played two games against Finland and Greece in Hrazdan in 1978.
The Moi International Sports Centre is a multi-purpose stadium in Kasarani, Kenya. It was built in 1987 for the All-Africa Games held in Nairobi. The facilities include a 60,000 seat arena with a running track and a pitch used for football and rugby union, a competition size swimming pool, an indoor arena and a 108-bed capacity hotel.
Stadion De Vijverberg is the football stadium of the football club De Graafschap from Doetinchem. It has a capacity of 12,600 seats.
"Metalist" Oblast Sports Complex, which includes the Metalist Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It is currently used chiefly for football matches and is the home of FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv and Shakhtar Donetsk. The stadium, which was a venue for Euro 2012, currently seats 40,003.
Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Mombasa, Kenya. It is used mostly for football matches and holds 10,000 people.
The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) is an international, for-profit, U.S. curriculum-based medical school with a main basic science campus in Sint Maarten, and is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The school is owned by Adtalem Global Education, formerly DeVry Inc. since 2011, AUC is fully accredited by the Ireland-based Accreditation Commission of Colleges of Medicine (ACCM), meets the requirements of the federally guaranteed student loan program, and is therefore approved for participation in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and other federal financial aid programs. The United States Department of Education has determined that the commission’s accreditation standards are comparable to those applicable to U.S. medical schools. AUC is not currently recognised by the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom, meaning that its graduates are not eligible for practice there.

The 2015 CFU Boys' Under-15 Championship is the inaugural Under-15 Championship organised by the Caribbean Football Union. The competition was created following the cancellation of the CONCACAF-organised Under-15 Championship. The tournament is to prepare players for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Tournament.
The 2017 Caribbean Club Championship was the 19th edition of the Caribbean Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), a sub-confederation of CONCACAF.
Flames United SC is a Sint Maarten football club that currently plays in the SMSA Senior League, the highest level of football on Dutch Sint Maarten. The club's home ground is the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Philipsburg, the country's capital. The club also fields a futsal team. The current manager is Omar Hunter and the current team captain is Loxley Parker.
The qualifying competitions for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship were handled by two regional of CONCACAF's bodies; the Caribbean Football Union and the Central American Football Union.
Rafael A. Boasman was Prime Minister of Sint Maarten from 24 November 2017 to 15 January 2018. From 20 December 2016 to 15 January 2018, Boasman was also the Minister of Justice. He was also Minister of Healthcare, Social Development, and Labor from 7 September 2015 to 19 November 2015 and Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications from 20 December 2016 to 4 April 2017.
Wycliffe Sylvester Smith is a Sint Maarten politician, former pastor and the current Minister of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports. Prior to becoming minister he briefly served as a Member of Parliament. From 1983 to 1989 he was the Lieutenant Governor of Saba.
Miss Sint Maarten is a national beauty pageant that selects queen from Sint Maarten representative to Miss Universe pageant between 1976 and 1982. This pageant is incorporated to Miss St. Martin who selects the winner to Miss France since 2012.
