Rammstein is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch.

The Mistress is a 1927 German silent drama film directed by Robert Wiene and starring Edda Croy, Harry Liedtke and Eugen Burg. It was based on a play by Alexander Brody. It was the first film Wiene made after returning to Germany after two years working in Austria, although the film's location shooting was done in Vienna, where the story is set. The interiors were shot at the Marienfelde Studios of Terra Film in Berlin.

He co-wrote the first standard work in German on comics as an art form, published in 1971. He translated comics such as Prince Valiant, Garfield, and Mom's Cancer by Brian Fies. The translated book Mutter hat Krebs was awarded the 2007 Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis.
