Rasmus Friis (born 19 November 1871, date of death unknown) was a Danish sports shooter. [1] He competed in two events at the 1912 Summer Olympics. [2]

The Rasmus

The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school. The original band members were Lauri Ylönen, Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Jarno Lahti left the year after and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen in 1995. Avaldsnes Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Karmøy Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Avaldsnes on the northern part of the island of Karmøy. It is the church for the Avaldsnes parish which is part of the Karmøy prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The medieval stone church was built in a long church design by an unknown architect. The first church located here was likely built before the year 1024 on the site of Avaldsnes Kongsgård estate. The present stone church was built in 1250. The church seats about 400 people.

Rasmus Henning is an athlete from Denmark, who competes in triathlon. He competed at the second Olympic triathlon at the 2004 Summer Olympics in which he placed seventh with a total time of 1:52:37.32. He competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics as well, placing eighth in the triathlon competition with a time of 1:49:57.47. In International Triathlon Union competition, he recorded a second-place finish at the 2001 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships.
