Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist) was a right-wing monarchist party in Nepal. It is a splinter group of the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party. The president of RPP (N) was Rajeshwor Devkota.

In November 1996 RPP (N) formed a front of 3 right-wing parties called Nationalist Democratic Front. It consisted of RPP (N), Nepal Yuva Sangathan, and Deshbhakta Prajatantrik Party. Devkota became the convenor of the front.

In January 2007, the party merged into the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal. [1]

Rastriya Prajatantra Party

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is a monarchist and Hindu nationalist political party in Nepal. It was formed by former Prime Ministers, Surya Bahadur Thapa and Lokendra Bahadur Chand. The party has had two Prime Ministers, Thapa and Chand, serving two terms each since the end of the Rastriya Panchayat.


Panchayat Prajatantra Party is a Nepalese political party. It is a small far-right party. On November 8, 2002 it joined the Nationalist Democratic Front together with Nepal Samata Party, Deshbhakta Prajatantrik Party, National Janamukti Party, Rastrabadi Milan Kentra and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist).

Interim legislature of Nepal

Nepal's King Gyanendra dissolved the Parliament of Nepal in 2002. and on January 15, 2007 a new Interim legislature was formed. The old parliament was elected in 1999. The new interim legislature consists both of members of the old parliament as well as members appointed by an agreement between the Seven Party Alliance and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).

Rastriya Janashakti Party is a liberal political party in Nepal, led by former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa. Thapa had split away from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in November 2004. The party is registered with the Election Commission of Nepal in March 2005.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party–Nepal was a Hindu right-wing, cultural conservative and royalist political party in Nepal that existed from 2006 to 2016. The party was formed as a splinter of Rastriya Prajatantra Party in 2006 and was later reunified in 2016.

Renu Kumari Yadavwas born on June 19, 1963 in Pharbisganj, India to Rameshwor Prasad and Chintamani Devi Yadav. Nepalese politician, belonging to the Ahir community, who was appointed as the Minister of Education in 2008. She is a member of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum.

Arjun Rai is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Rastriya Janshakti Party. He is an Alternative Central Committee of RJP. Rai has an M.A. in English. He had joined Nepali Congress in 1979, but later joined the pro-panchayat Nepal Youth Organization. He was the Khotang district chairman of the organization 1986–1989. In 1990 he joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. During some periods he served as Khotant district chair of the party. When RPP split in 2005, he joined the RJP. Kamal Thapa

Kamal Thapa served as a Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Affairs and Local Development Minister of Nepal Government. He is also current president of Nepal's royalist party, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party. He served as a Home Minister during King Gyanendra's direct rule in 2006 until the king was forced to handover power to Girija Prasad Koirala of the Nepali Congress Party and his allies with Communist Party of Nepal and Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). He and his party called for a re-establishment of the monarchy through a referendum vote. Thapa claims that no political parties in Nepal have the courage to safeguard Nepali nationality, claiming: "Now the onus lies only with the institution of monarchy to safeguard Nepali sovereignty and national unity."

Two years later she made her movie debut in Chhabiraj Ojha's Hero. She has worked in around 200 Nepali movies and has gained popularity in the Nepali cine world because of her glamorous role. She owns the movie production house Rekha Entertainment. She won the CG Digital Film Awards for Best Actress, and in 2011 she has also won the NEFTA Film Awards for Best Actress.

Sunil Bahadur Thapa

Sunil Bahadur Thapa is a Nepali Politician. He is the son of five time prime minister of Nepal, Surya Bahadur Thapa. He has recently won in the Constituent Assembly of Nepal.

Rastriya Prajantantra Party (Samyukta) was a political party in Nepal. It was formed on 6 August 2017 by Pashupati SJB Rana after splitting from Rastriya Prajatantra Party as Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic). It merged with Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist), another splinter group of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, on 31 January 2019 to form Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Samyukta).
