Rauma is a town in Finland, located on the western coast of the country. Rauma is situated in the Satakunta region, along the Gulf of Bothnia. The population of Rauma is approximately 39,000, while the sub-region has a population of approximately 65,000. It is the 29th most populous municipality in Finland.

Rauman maalaiskunta is a former municipality of Finland. It was annexed to Rauma on 1 January 1993. The population of the municipality at the time of annexation was about 9,000. The municipality was originally formed in 1476 when a border was drawn between the town of Rauma and the surrounding countryside. The townspeople had seafaring rights, which the country dwellers lacked. Between the 17th century and early 19th century, customs fees were levied on goods passing either to or from the town, and even a border wall existed. A place in Rauma is still called "Porintulli" – a place for the customs on the road to Pori.
Rauman Lukko is a Finnish sports club based in Rauma, Finland, best known for its men’s professional ice hockey team. The club was founded as Rauma Woodin Lukko in 1936. The representative team currently plays in the Finnish Liiga, the premier men’s professional ice hockey league in Finland. They play their home games in the Äijänsuo Arena, which has a capacity of 5,400 spectators. Lukko won the SM-sarja in 1963 and won the Liiga championship in 2021. Until 2023 the club also had a top-tier women’s representative ice hockey team, which played in the Naisten Liiga, and a top-tier women’s representative pesäpallo team, which plays in the Superpesis.
