He is also the founder and CEO of the film production company 'Libra Productions’ which opened in 2013.

Film career

In 2013, Ravindar started his own production house 'Libra Productions’ and became the producer for the black comedy film Sutta Kadhai which featured actors Balaji Venugopal and Venkatesh Harinathan as lead actors. [6] [7] He then produced various movies like Nalanum Nandhiniyum (2014), Kolai Nokku Paarvai (2014), Kalyanam (2017), Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma (2019) and Murungakkai Chips (2021). [8] [9] [10] [11]

In October 2024, Ravindar appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 8 as a contestant which aired on Star Vijay. He was later evicted at 24th position from the show on Day 7. [12]

Controversy

In 2020, Chandrasekaran accused actress Vanitha Vijayakumar of body-shaming and threatening him. In an interview to a media house, he had said, “She is a publicity-hungry person who interacts with others in an arrogant manner. I never questioned why she was married to someone of her choice. The whole issue started because the marriage happened without the groom legally separating from his ex-wife. Pointing out that violation of law and spoiling another family does not come under commenting on personal life.” Vanitha later lodged a cyber bullying case against Chandrasekaran and the case continued. [13]

Personal life

On 1 September 2022, Chandrasekaran married television actress Mahalakshmi in a private Hindu ceremony in Tirupati. [14] [15] Following the marriage Ravindar received many criticisms regarding his marriage due to his physical appearance. [16] He also has a stepson with his wife Mahalakshmi from her previous marriage.
