Ray Bachelor was an English football coach who was the first ever manager of the Kenyan national side. [1] Bachelor later managed Kenyan club side Nakuru AllStars, first ever winners of the Kenyan Premier League. [2]

Nakuru AllStars was a Kenyan football team. They won the first ever Kenyan Premier League in 1963, when managed by English coach Ray Bachelor. They repeated the feat again in 1969.

He currently serves as the President of the Kenya Footballers Mathare United FC Association (KEFWA), a body that articulates for issues related to contracted soccer players in Kenya. Part time he serves also as a pundit and youth coach in Nairobi, Kenya running a soccer academy known as Inspire Soka Academy.
