Raymond "Broadway" Taylor (born 1910) was an American baseball catcher in the Negro leagues. He played from 1931 to 1944,playing mostly with the Memphis Red Sox. [1]
Martín Magdaleno Dihigo Llanos,called The Immortal and The Maestro,was a Cuban pitcher,utility player,and manager. He played in the Negro leagues and Latin American leagues from 1923 to 1945 as a two-way player,predominantly as a pitcher and a second baseman,although he excelled at all nine positions and later as a manager.

Samuel Harding Hairston was a Negro league baseball and Major League Baseball player. He played for the Birmingham Black Barons and the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro leagues and played part of one season with the Chicago White Sox as a catcher. He is buried in Birmingham's Elmwood Cemetery.

Jacinto "Jack" Calvo González was born Jacinto Del Calvo in Havana,Cuba. He was an outfielder for the Washington Senators in 1913 and 1920. He played in 34 games,had 56 at bats,10 runs,9 hits,1 triple,1 home run,4 RBIs,3 walks,a .161 batting average,a .203 on-base percentage,a .250 slugging percentage,67 total bases and 19 sacrifices. He died in Miami,Florida.
The Cleveland Tate Stars were a Negro league baseball team from 1919 through 1923. They played as an independent (non-affiliated) team from 1919 through 1921,and joined the Negro National League in 1922. In their only season as a full-fledged league member,they finished last of eight clubs with a reported 17–29 record in league play.
Samuel Howard Bankhead was an American baseball player in the Negro leagues. He played from 1931 to 1951. He also played for the Dragones de Ciudad Trujillo along with Satchel Paige and Josh Gibson. In 1951,he became the first black coach in Minor League Baseball when he was a player-manager for the Farnham Pirates of the Provincial League. He played in several East-West all-star games from 1933 to 1946.
Maxwell Cornelius Manning was a pitcher in Negro league baseball. He played for the Newark Eagles between 1938 and 1949.
Valentín Dreke was a Cuban baseball outfielder in the Negro leagues. He played from 1919 to 1927,doing so with the Cuban Stars (East) and Cuban Stars (West). He also played winter ball with the famed Almendares team on three occasions. He led the Negro National League in batting average in 1924,hitting .389 in 46 games played. In his eight years of Negro league ball,he batted at least .296 in each season. He died of tuberculosis in 1929. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945.
Ramón "El Profesor" Bragaña Palacios was a Cuban baseball pitcher and outfielder in the Negro leagues and the Mexican League.

Leroy Matlock was an American baseball pitcher in the Negro leagues. He played from 1929 to 1938 with several teams. He was selected to the 1935 and the 1936 East-West All-Star Game. Matlock was considered one of the top left handed pitchers of the 1930s.

He played professionally in the United States from 1945 to 1948 with the New York Black Yankees,Indianapolis Clowns,and the Chicago American Giants. He was born and died on Saint Croix. Gerard was the first Virgin Islander to play in a recognized major league,and the only one to play in the Negro Leagues.
