Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001, captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler, and best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000, after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987, and one of the West Indian Cricket Cricketer of the Year a year later. In October 2010, he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul is a Guyanese cricketer of Indian descent and former West Indian international cricketer and captain of the West Indies cricket team. Considered as one of the greatest batsmen of his era, Chanderpaul is the first Indo-Caribbean to play 100 Tests for the West Indies, and third player with the international career span over three decades after Sachin Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya.
Daren Julius Garvey Sammy is a Saint Lucian cricketer who played international cricket for the West Indies. Daren Sammy was born on December 20, 1983 in Micoud, St Lucia to Wilson Sammy and Clara Sammy. He is a two time T20 World Cup winning captain. On making his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Bangladesh in 2004, Sammy became the first person from the island of St Lucia to play international cricket. Three years later he made his Test debut against England, taking 7/66 which were the best bowling figures for a West Indian in his first Test since Alf Valentine in 1950. Sammy was appointed West Indies captain in October 2010. He scored his maiden Test century in May 2012 during a match against England.

In August 2019, Cricket West Indies named him as the Championship Player of the Year. Later the same month, he made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team. He also set the record for the heaviest cricketer to play Test cricket, weighing more than 140kg. For the Leewards Islands, he is their second highest wicket-taker in both First Class and List A cricket, while only Kieran Powell has scored more than his four List A hundreds for the side.

He was the first player to be dismissed hit-wicket twice in consecutive Tests and the first to be dismissed hit-wicket on test debut. Ambris' middle name of Walford derives from former St. George Rugby League winger Ricky Walford who was and still is a household name in Ambris' native St. Vincent.
Kesrick Omari Kenal Williams is a Vincentian cricketer who has played for several teams in West Indian domestic cricket. He made his first-class debut in 2011, for the Windward Islands, and later appeared for the Combined Campuses, but rose to prominence only in 2016, when he was the leading wicket-taker for the Jamaica Tallawahs in the 2016 Caribbean Premier League.
Vishal Nagamootoo is a former Guyanese cricketer who represented the Guyanese national team in West Indian domestic cricket. He played as a wicket-keeper.
