Re:ECM is a 2011 album by minimal techno producers Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer. It uses recordings released on the ECM Records label primarily associated with jazz and contemporary classical music as the basis for the tracks.
The album received mostly positive reviews in specialized medias, [1] [2] while The Guardian , for instance, remains somehow more mixed in its overall favourable comments. [3]

ECM is an independent record label founded by Karl Egger, Manfred Eicher and Manfred Scheffner in Munich in 1969. While ECM is best known for jazz music, the label has released a variety of recordings, and ECM's artists often refuse to acknowledge boundaries between genres. ECM's motto is "the most beautiful sound next to silence", taken from a 1971 review of ECM releases in Coda, a Canadian jazz magazine.
Nils Petter Molvær also known as NPM is a Norwegian jazz trumpeter, composer, and record producer. He is considered a pioneer of future jazz, a genre that fuses jazz and electronic music, best showcased on his most commercially successful album, Khmer.
Moritz von Oswald is a German record producer and percussionist from Hamburg and based in Berlin. He is a co-founder of the production duo and record label Basic Channel. He has collaborated with Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, and Nils Petter Molvær. He also leads the Moritz von Oswald Trio, which has featured musicians such as Vladislav Delay, Tony Allen, and Laurel Halo. The Stranger called him "one of the master architects of dub techno".
Ricardo Villalobos is a Chilean-born German electronic music producer and DJ. He is well known for his work in the minimal techno and microhouse genres, and is one of the most significant figures in the minimal techno scene.
Thé au Harem d'Archimède is the second studio album by Ricardo Villalobos. It was released by Perlon on LP and CD on October 12, 2004. The album's French title, which translates into English as "Tea in the Harem of Archimedes," is a reference to the Mehdi Charef film Tea in the Harem, as well as a mondegreen of the French phrase "Théorème d'Archimède," also the title of the album's fourth track.

Fabric 36 is a 2007 album by Ricardo Villalobos. Whilst the album was released as part of the Fabric mix CD series, it is composed entirely of new material by Villalobos and several collaborators, and as such could be considered a full studio album. It is the first fabric mix to contain only an artist's own work since Pure Science's Fabric 05. "Andruic", "Fizpatrick", "Primer encuentro Latino-Americano" and "Farenzer House" were later released unedited on Villalobos' next album, Sei Es Drum.

"Enfants" is a 2008 single by electronic music producer Ricardo Villalobos. Though 17 minutes in length, the A-side, "Enfants (Chants)", has been described as a "remarkably catchy, hype-inducing DJ tool" by Pitchfork Media, and as a "great tool for DJs" by electronic music magazine Resident Advisor, due to its minimal changes over the course of the entire song.

Dependent and Happy is the third studio album by Ricardo Villalobos. It was released by Perlon on LP and CD over three dates in August and September, 2012. The album is Villalobos' first solo studio album since 2004's Thé au Harem d'Archimède; several previous albums have either been DJ mixes, compilations or collaborations
Lost in a Dream is a live album by jazz drummer Paul Motian, recorded at the Village Vanguard in February 2009 and released on ECM the following year. It features tenor saxophonist Chris Potter and pianist Jason Moran.
Paula Schopf is a Chilean electronic music producer and DJ, born in Santiago, Chile in 1970. Sister of musician and producer Dandy Jack and DJ Adrian, she has developed her own career as a DJ and producer in both Chile and Germany under the name "Chica Paula".
