Chen Zhong is a retired Chinese taekwondo competitor who represented her country at international level for more than 10 years, including three consecutive Summer Olympic Games. She won China's first Olympic gold medal in taekwondo at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and successfully defended her title at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but did not make it past the quarter-final round.

Anastasija Zolotic is an American taekwondo athlete and Olympic gold medalist. She won the silver medal at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in the girls 49 kg weight class. She qualified to represent the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. On Sunday 25 July 2021, at just 18-years-old, she became the first American woman to win Olympic gold in taekwondo, defeating Tatiana Minina of Russia 25 to 17. She competed in the women's featherweight event at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Nour Abdelsalam is an Egyptian taekwondo practitioner. She is a gold medalist in the women's 49 kg event at the Islamic Solidarity Games, the African Games and several editions of the African Taekwondo Championships. She also represented Egypt at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Fernanda Nicole Aguirre Ramirez is a Chilean taekwondo practitioner. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's 57 kg event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. In her bronze medal match she defeated Carolena Carstens of Panama.
Chelsie Giles is a British judoka. She won the gold medal in the women's 52 kg event at the 2022 European Judo Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria. She won one of the bronze medals in her event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Giles' medal was the first awarded to Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Avishag Semberg is an Israeli Olympic taekwondo athlete. She is an Olympic bronze medalist for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the women's 49 kg competition. She won Israel's all-time tenth Olympic medal, and is the youngest Israeli to receive an Olympic medal, at the age of 19. Semberg represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the women's taekwondo -49 kg category. Saudi athlete Dunya Abutaleb defeated Semberg in the first round.
Malia Maile Paseka is a Tongan Taekwondo athlete who made her Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She was an opening ceremony flag bearer alongside Pita Taufatofua.
Althéa Laurin is a French taekwondo athlete competing in the middleweight division. She won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics and a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, both in the women + 67 kg. She has been made Knight of the National Order of Merit.
