REDTV is a Nigerian web-based channel established by UBA. [2] [3] The channel creates entertainment content spotlighting contemporary African fashion, design, art, music, sport, movies travel and more. [4]

History

REDTV started as an online video content platform, and pivoted into a media company with the formation of an on-demand audio platform, RED RADIO, an online lifestyle web radio/podcast hub that brings music, entertainment, information, news, and trends to diverse audiences. [5] [6] [7]

REDTV is a platform known for showcasing modern African content, including TV shows, fashion, news, design, music, sports, and travel. Since its launch, REDTV has aired shows like The Men's Club (Nigerian web series), Africa's Next Top Model, Assistant Madams, Inspector K, our best friend's wedding, and on December 26, 2021, the channel launched its first feature-length movie, Unintentional (2021 film). REDTV has over 61,000,000 YouTube views and over 337,000 subscribers as of September 2023. [11]

L.I.F.E is the debut studio album by Nigerian singer Burna Boy. It was released on August 12, 2013, by Aristokrat Records. The album serves as the follow-up to his second mixtape, Burn Identity (2011), and sold 40,000 copies on the first day of its release. Aristokrat Records later sold the album's marketing rights to Uba Pacific for ₦10 million. L.I.F.E was supported by the singles "Like to Party", "Tonight", "Always Love You", "Run My Race" and "Yawa Dey". The album was produced entirely by Leriq and features guest appearances from 2face Idibia, M.I, Timaya, Olamide, Reminisce and Wizkid.

<i>Gidi Up</i> Nigerian web drama series

Gidi Up is a Nigerian television and web drama series starring OC Ukeje, Deyemi Okanlawon, Somkele Iyamah, and Titilope Sonuga in lead roles. The series was created by Jadesola Osiberu and executively produced by Lola Odedina. It is produced by Ndani TV and sponsored by GTBank. Owing to unknown reasons, the show was not picked up for a third season. The show was cancelled after two seasons. Episodes are first aired online through Ndani.tv web channel, and the first episode was aired on 20 February 2013.

Akah Nnani is a Nigerian actor, TV host, content creator, and YouTuber, well known for his supporting role in Banana Island Ghost, which earned him a nomination at the 14th, and 15th editions of The AMA Awards in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category in 2018 and 2019. In 2022, he returned to screen with a lead role in the Netflix Original movie, Man of God, as Samuel Obalolu.

Off-Air with Gbemi & Toolz is an uncensored gossip and infotainment talk show that was created by Gbemi and Toolz. The talk show was created in response to the duo's daily listeners who had listened to their "Handover session" on The Beat 99.9 FM for over a decade. The talk show series debuted on October 10, 2019, on YouTube and racked up nearly a quarter of a million views, over 25 thousand listeners on the audio podcasts and almost 7,000 subscribers in just three months into the show. For its sixth season, exclusive episodes began to air on DStv, GOtv and Showmax.

<i>Our Best Friends Wedding</i> Nigerian TV series

Our Best Friend's Wedding is a 2017 RedTV, and TCN Africa original Nigerian Drama web series, created by Olawale Adetula, and executively produced by Olawale Adetula, and Bola Atta, for the first season, with Obinna Okerekeocha joining the second season as an executive producer, starring Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, Adebola Olowu, Oreka Godis, Chris Attoh, Timi Charles-Fadipe, Marycolette Unamka, Wendy Lawal, Sarah Boulos, and Theo Lawson in the first season, with Maurice Sam, Martha Ehinome, Oshuwa Imoyo Tunde, Marycolette Unamka, Eso Dike, and Adekanla Desalu, joining the main cast for the second season.
