He is considered to be one of the most well known composers in the video game industry. Sometimes referred to as the "Beethoven of video games music", he has appeared five times in the top 20 of the annual Classic FM Hall of Fame.

The National Film Awards were called the "State Awards for Films" when established in 1954. "Tornerò" is a song by Romanian singer Mihai Trăistariu from his eighth studio album of the same name (2006). Released by CMC Entertainment on 3 July 2006, it was written by Cristian Hriscu, Mihaela Deac and its producer Eduard Cîrcotă. With English verses and a refrain in Italian, "Tornerò" is a disco, pop, dance and rave song featuring Trăistariu using his higher vocal range. "The Balkan Girls" is a folk-influenced dance-pop song whose refrain celebrates the party life of Balkan girls.
"Taken by a Stranger" is a song recorded by German singer Lena for her second studio album Good News (2011), released as a CD single on 22 February 2011 by We Love Music. Gus Seyffert, Nicole Morier and Monica Birkenes wrote the song, while production was handled by Stefan Raab and Reinhard Schaub. Seyffert had originally penned the track for Birkenes to record, but her label rejected it and it was eventually given to Lena. Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the "Contigo hasta el final" written by Raquel del Rosario, David Feito and Juan Luis Suárez. The trio performed the song in their rock-pop band called El Sueño de Morfeo (ESDM) who were internally selected by the Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) in December 2012. The broadcaster organised the national final Destino Eurovisión to select the song that ESDM would perform. The public had from 5 February 2013 until 11 February to select one of two songs via the internet that would be performed along with two other songs on the televised national final on 26 February. The results of the public vote combined with the votes of an international jury resulted in the selection of "Contingo hasta el final" as the Spanish entry.
Iveta Mukuchyan is an Armenian-German singer-songwriter, model, and actress. Born in Yerevan, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, she moved to Hamburg, Germany, in 1992. Mukuchyan returned to Armenia in 2009 and placed fifth in the fourth season of the talent competition Hay Superstar. During this time, she received vocal training at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Mukuchyan also participated for season two of The Voice of Germany in 2012.

The song was performed by Losco, who had previously represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in the 2002 edition where she achieved second place with the song "7th Wonder".
