Red Jets is a 2006 3D combat flight simulator, inspired by the Cold War conflict and the USSR Air Force. It was developed by Graffiti Entertainment.
The player can fly four famous Soviet jets: the MiG-29 Fulcrum, Yak-141 Freestyle, Su-27 Flanker, and Su-25 Frogfoot. The game features relatively realistic flight physics and detailed cockpit and external views. Twenty missions and thirty scenarios come with the game. The landscapes were modelled from actual satellite maps. In addition, a detailed visual weather system to simulate flight in almost unlimited combinations of weather and day is included in the game. It also features a multiplayer mode, where up to 16 players could play simultaneously. The game also came with a mission creator, which was criticized for its lack of openness.
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a Soviet-origin twin-engine supermaneuverable fighter aircraft designed by Sukhoi. It was intended as a direct competitor for the large US fourth-generation jet fighters such as the Grumman F-14 Tomcat and McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, with 3,530-kilometre (1,910 nmi) range, heavy aircraft ordnance, sophisticated avionics and high maneuverability. The Su-27 was designed for air superiority missions, and subsequent variants are able to perform almost all aerial warfare operations. It was designed with the Mikoyan MiG-29 as its complement.

The development team built on the general aviation gameplay of Flight Unlimited II, with more detailed physics and terrain, more planes, and a real-time weather system. Roughly half of Flight Unlimited II's team returned to work on the sequel, supported by new hires.
Falcon 4.0: Allied Force (F4AF) is an F-16 based combat flight simulator released by Lead Pursuit in 2005. The game is based around a realistic simulation of the Block 50/52 F-16 Fighting Falcon in a series of missions in the Balkans.
Su-27 Flanker is a combat flight simulator released for the PC in 1995 on CD. Developed in Russia by Eagle Dynamics and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc (SSI), the game takes part in Crimea and allows players to fly the Sukhoi Su-27 in various combat roles. The game also includes a mission editor, allowing the player to create custom gameplay scenarios.
The Sukhoi Su-57 is a twin-engine stealth multirole fighter aircraft developed by Sukhoi. It is the product of the PAK FA programme, which was initiated in 1999 as a more modern and affordable alternative to the MFI. Sukhoi's internal designation for the aircraft is T-50. At first the new company sold flight simulators through mail order, but that changed in January 1979 with the release of Flight Simulator (FS) for the Apple II. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is a 2007 arcade-style combat flight simulation video game developed by Project Aces and published by Namco Bandai Games exclusively for the Xbox 360. Bogey Dead 6 is a 1996 flight simulation video game developed by Pegasus Japan and Bit Town, and published by Asmik in Japan and Sony in other regions. The game features six real fighter planes: the F-4E, F-14D, F-15E, F-16C, F/A-18E and the F-22 Raptor. The game is played from the perspective of an ace pilot for the United States Air Force. The objective is to protect the United States from communist invasion, enemy involvement and terrorism. The game is very similar to the Ace Combat series.
Turn and Burn: No-Fly Zone is a jet flight simulator from Absolute Entertainment for the Super NES, released in 1994. It is the sequel to Turn and Burn: The F-14 Dogfight Simulator, a Game Boy game which also featured the F-14 Tomcat aircraft. An enhanced port of this game was released as F-14 Tomcat on Game Boy Advance. A Sega Mega Drive version was planned but never released.
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 is an arcade-style combat flight simulator developed by Ubisoft Bucharest and published by Ubisoft. The game is the sequel to Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, released in 2009. The game was released for Xbox 360 on September 3, 2010, the PlayStation 3 version one week later on September 10. The Microsoft Windows and Wii versions of the game were released on November 12.
Top Gun: Hornet's Nest is a 1998 combat flight simulation game developed by Zipper Interactive and published by MicroProse for Microsoft Windows. It is loosely based on the 1986 film Top Gun, and is a sequel to the 1996 game Top Gun: Fire at Will. The game was criticized for its lack of realism and its flight physics.
