Frank James "Red" O'Hora is an American former baseball coach and player. He played college baseball for Penn State for coach Joe Bedenk from 1934 to 1936 before playing professionally from 1938. He then served as the head baseball coach of the Colgate Red Raiders from 1950 to 1972, leading the Red Raiders to a fourth-place finish in the 1955 College World Series.

O'Hora served as the head football coach of Bangor High School and Easton Area High School. [1] On June 1, 1949, O'Hora was named the successor to Eppie Barnes as the head baseball coach of the Colgate Red Raiders. [2]

The 1932 Colgate Red Raiders football team represented Colgate University in during the 1932 college football season. Fourth-year head coach Andrew Kerr led Colgate to a perfect record, and the team did not allow an opponent to score throughout the entire season. Nevertheless, Colgate did not receive an expected invitation to the Rose Bowl, and as such, the team was called "undefeated, untied, unscored upon, and uninvited". The 1932 Colgate eleven is one of only three college football teams since 1920 to have finished a perfect season without being scored upon. The new maroon uniforms adopted by this team inspired the nickname for the school's athletics program: the "Red Raiders". Parke H. Davis named Colgate a co-national champion team alongside Michigan and USC.

Tadlock guided the Grayson Vikings to back-to-back National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I World Series titles in 1999 and 2000. In 2014, Tadlock led his alma mater to their first College World Series appearance and received the Skip Bertman Award, presented to the college baseball coach of the year by the College Baseball Foundation.

John Francis Bruen was an American college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Catholic University of America from 1982 to 1989 and Colgate University from 1989 to 1997. Bruen led the Colgate Red Raiders to two NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament appearances before dying from pancreatic cancer at age 48.

The 1949 Colgate Red Raiders football team was an American football team that represented Colgate University as an independent during the 1949 college football season. In its third season under head coach Paul Bixler, the team compiled a 1–8 record and was outscored by a total of 291 to 186. Warren Davis was the team captain. The team played its home games at Colgate Athletic Field in Hamilton, New York.
