Redneck Zombies is a 1987 American horror comedy Z movie, directed by Pericles Lewnes and released by Troma Entertainment.
A barrel of radioactive waste is lost out in the woods, leading to some demented rednecks find it, and use it as part of their still. Everybody who drinks the liquor they produced turns into zombies.
Redneck Zombies was one of the first films shot entirely on videotape and then released to the home-video market (making it a straight-to-video film). The film was once used as an answer in a 1980s edition of Trivial Pursuit, the question being "What film has the tagline 'They're Tobacco Chewin', Gut Chompin', Cannibal Kinfolk from Hell!'". Director Pericles Lewnes went on to work as a special effects supervisor on several other Troma productions. [1] William Benson (Pa) went on to become an Emmy-award winning director for NASA.
The film was released on VHS and DVD by Troma Entertainment. A new 20th anniversary edition of the film was released on DVD January 27, 2009. It includes the never before released soundtrack on CD. [2] In 2022 the film was re-released by VHS Haven on a limited edition VHS. [3] The film was released on blu-ray in 2023 by Degausser Video, a straight-to-video imprint of Vinegar Syndrome. [4]

Michael Myers is a character from the slasher film series Halloween. He first appears in 1978 in John Carpenter's Halloween as a young boy who murders his elder sister, Judith Myers. Fifteen years later, he returns home to Haddonfield, Illinois, to murder more teenagers. In the original Halloween, the adult Michael Myers, referred to as The Shape in the closing credits, was portrayed by Nick Castle for most of the film and substituted by Tony Moran in the final scene where Michael's face is revealed. The character was created by John Carpenter and has been featured in twelve films, as well as novels, video games, and comic books.
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead is a 2006 black comedy musical horror film directed by Lloyd Kaufman and co-directed by Gabriel Friedman from a screenplay by Friedman and Daniel Bova. The film centers around the takeover of a New Jersey fried chicken fast food restaurant by possessed zombie chickens after it is built on top of a sacred Native American burial ground. The film was distributed and released on December 29, 2006, and in 2008 on DVD by Troma Entertainment.

Zombie Holocaust is a 1980 Italian horror film directed by Marino Girolami. The film is about a team of scientists who follow a trail of corpses in New York to a remote Indonesian island where they meet a mad doctor who performs experiments on both the living and dead in his laboratory. The team face both zombies and cannibals in an attempt to stop the doctor. The film was re-edited and released theatrically in the United States in 1982 under the title Doctor Butcher M.D.

A Virgin Among the Living Dead is a 1973 European erotic horror film directed by Jesús Franco. Franco shot the film in 1971, but it was only released in 1973 after some additional erotic footage was added to the film without Franco's involvement. It was later re-cut with some extra zombie footage and redistributed to theaters again in 1981 as a zombie film. It has since been restored on DVD to Franco's original director's cut.
