Rehab India Foundation is a Delhi-based non-governmental organization which was founded on 17 March 2008. [1] With aim of rehabilitation of the marginalized section of Rural India with a better standard of living providing Education, Health, Economic Development and Environment. [2] [3] [4] [5] Rehab India Foundation has aligned with United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030. [6] [7] With operations in Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. [1] [8] [9] Considering United Nations Millennium Development Goals of ensuring universal primary education, and reaching out to the most remote slums & villages, Rehab India Foundation has initiated its unique program "Education on wheels". [10] [11] Hamdard National Foundation distributed ration kits Rehab India Foundation in Okhla Delhi as COVID-19 Relief through Rehab India Foundation [5]

Banned for 5 years

On 28 September 2022 the Government of India declared Rehab India Foundation, along with Popular Front of India, Campus Front of India, All India Imams Council, National Confederation of Human Rights Organization, National Women's Front, Junior Front, Empower India Foundation and Rehab Foundation Kerala as "unlawful association" and banned these organisations for 5 years under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. [12]

Indian Nursing Council is a national regulatory body for nurses and nurse education in India. It is an autonomous body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, constituted by the Central Government under section 3(1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of Indian parliament. Since 1947 Indian Nursing Council Act has undergone minimal amendments. National Institute of Design, Assam or NID Jorhat is a design institute located in Jorhat, Assam. Happiness Curriculum is an educational program for children studying in nursery to grade eight in schools run by the Government of Delhi since July 2018. The objective is to improve the mental well-being of pupils, and it teaches mindfulness, social-emotional learning, critical thinking, problem solving, and relationship building. Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple that is being built in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, according to the Ramayana the birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism. The temple construction is being supervised by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The ground-breaking ceremony was performed on 5 August 2020 by India’s prime minister Narendra Modi. The temple premises will include temples dedicated to deities Surya, Ganesha, Shiva, Durga, Vishnu and Brahma.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Northeast India border disputes</span>

Border disputes of Northeast India mainly include inter-state conflict between Assam–Mizoram, Assam–Arunachal Pradesh, Assam–Nagaland and Assam–Meghalaya. The disputes, including clashes between rival police forces, have resulted in the loss of life, livelihood and property. The border disputes in some cases are part of the larger national (separatist), sub-regional and ethnic conflicts, as well as criminal enterprise fuelled. This internal land conflict in the districts of the northeast are part of the 322 districts affected by ongoing land conflicts out of a total of 703 districts in India.

Land conflict in India is present in 45% of the districts of the country. The conflict is spread over a number of sectors such as infrastructure, power, industry and forestry. 25% of all disputes resolved by the Supreme Court of India are related to land disputes and land acquisition. Inter-state conflict includes those between states in northeast India such as Assam-Mizoram, Assam–Arunachal Pradesh and Assam–Nagaland.

Nand Ghar is a social initiative of the Anil Agarwal Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Vedanta Group. The project aims to transform the lives of 7 crore children and 2 crore women across the 13.7 Lakh Anganwadi centres by providing online education, primary healthcare, nutritional requirements and economically skill training for women across India. Project Nand Ghar modernises Anganwadis functioning under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS), this includes infrastructural improvements.
