Rehema Dida Jaldesa (born 29 July 1971) [1] is a Kenyan politician. She is the current Chief Administrative Secretary tourism, wildlife and heritage and former women representative of Isiolo County in the Kenya National Assembly since 23 August 2017. Jaldesa previously served as leader of the opposition for Isiolo county from 2013–2017. [2] [3] [4]

He further represented the Isiolo North Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya for 10 years (2003-2013). He also held the positions of Minister for Youth Affairs in 2005 and Minister for Livestock from 2008 to 2013.

General elections were held in Kenya on 4 March 2013. Voters elected the President, members of the National Assembly and newly formed Senate. They were the first elections held under the new constitution, which was approved in a 2010 referendum, and were also the first run by the new Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Local elections were held in Isiolo County to elect a Governor and County Assembly on 4 March 2013. Under the new constitution, which was passed in a 2010 referendum, the 2013 general elections were the first in which Governors and members of the County Assemblies for the newly created counties were elected. They will also be the first general elections run by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) which has released the official list of candidates.

Mohammed Abduba Dida is a Kenyan teacher who vied for the country's presidency in the 2013 General Election on an Alliance of Real Change party ticket. Dida ran again in the 2017 General Election, conceding hours before the election was called in favour of the incumbent; President Uhuru Kenyatta, but at the same time calling into question the integrity of the election and the conduct of the two main political parties; Jubilee and Nasa.

Godana Doyo is a Kenyan politician who was the first Governor of Isiolo County from 2013 to 2017, elected as a member of the United Republican Party. He was defeated in his re-election bid, this time as a member of the Party of Development and Reforms, by Mohammed Kuti. Doyo was cleared of all cases filed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

Peninnah Gathoni Muchomba popularly known as Gathoni Wa Mucomba is Kenyan entrepreneur and politician. She is the Kiambu County Women representative in the bicameral Kenyan parliament and a member of the ruling political party, Jubilee Party of Kenya. She vied and won the Kiambu women representative post in the 2017 General election. Gathoni garnered 922,829 votes from Kiambu county constituents becoming the third highest candidate with the majority votes after President Uhuru Kenyatta and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
