Rein Valdmaa

Rein Valdmaa (born 19 November 1960) is an Estonian athletics competitor. [1]

He was born in Elva. In 1980 he graduated from Estonian Sports Gymnasium (TSIK). [1]

He started his athletics exercising in 1972 in Lähte High School, coached by Harry Meier. Later he specialised on long-distance running, coached by Manfred Tõnisson, Heiti Lumiste ja Uno Källe. He is multiple-times Estonian champion. 1982–1995 he was a member of Estonian national athletics team. [1]

Jaak Uudmäe Estonian athlete

Jaak Uudmäe is an Estonian former triple jumper and long jumper who competed for the Soviet Union. He was the gold medalist at the 1980 Summer Olympics. He set a personal best of 17.35 m in his Olympic victory – a mark which remains the Estonian record.

Heino Puuste is a retired Estonian javelin thrower who represented the USSR and later Estonia. Puuste later became an athletics coach, most notably coaching the 2005 javelin throw world champion Andrus Värnik.

Rein Aun Estonian athlete

Rein Aun was a multitalented Estonian athlete. He competed for the Soviet Union in the decathlon at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1964.
