Reinaldo Verdes Drake (born March 15,1923),sometimes spelled "Dreke",is a Cuban former Negro league outfielder who played in the 1940s.
A native of Havana,Cuba,Drake made his Negro leagues debut in 1945 with the Cincinnati Clowns. [1] [2] He remained with the club when it moved to Indianapolis the following season,played with the Clowns through 1954,and was selected to the East–West All-Star Game in 1953. [3] Drake later played minor league baseball with the Yakima Braves. [4]

Theodore Reginald Strong,Jr.,was an American Negro league baseball player who played from 1936 to 1942 and again from 1946 to 1951 for the Chicago American Giants,Indianapolis Athletics,Kansas City Monarchs,Indianapolis ABCs,and Indianapolis Clowns.
Valentín Dreke was a Cuban baseball outfielder in the Negro leagues. He played from 1919 to 1927,doing so with the Cuban Stars (East) and Cuban Stars (West). He also played winter ball with the famed Almendares team on three occasions. He led the Negro National League in batting average in 1924,hitting .389 in 46 games played. In his eight years of Negro league ball,he batted at least .296 in each season. He died of tuberculosis in 1929. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945.
