Remyl makes experimental electronic music. Labeled by some[who?] as industrial and as dark ambient by others.[who?] It is often inspired by science fiction themes and man/machine relations. The tracks vary between instrumentals and songs with heavily processed or synthesized voices. Sometimes the lyrics themselves are synthesized using specially written software. The instrumentation is purely made up by synthesizers, samplers, various processing equipment and sometimes software.
Remyl performed live once at Cosmopolite in Oslo May 20, 1993.
They made a live computer performance at the Cyberiad club in connection with the release of the reincarnation of the sun compilation in 1994, where an Acorn Archimedes computer rendered self-developed visual accompaniment in real time along with pre-recorded music. The members prefer anonymity, letting the music and imagery speak for itself. On public appearances, they have been dressed in white protective suits and gas masks.
Although nothing has been released for many years, Remyl considers itself to be in stasis rather than broken up.
In 2010, a bootlegged digital release of the album Disruptor forced Remyl to revitalise its label Bootsector and to release its back catalogue for digital distribution. A digital EP with all existing versions, 2.00 through 6.00, of the classic Golden Triangle was released in January under the title The Golden Triangle Recollected.
The first new material since 1996 was released as the digital EP Slavery of Survival on February 1, 2010. Presented in the Norwegian numeric date format (dd.mm.yyyy) the release date spells 01.02.2010.

Chiptune, also known as chip music, is a style of synthesized electronic music made using the programmable sound generator (PSG) sound chips or synthesizers in vintage arcade machines, computers and video game consoles. The term is commonly used to refer to tracker format music which intentionally sounds similar to older PSG-created music, as well as music that combines PSG sounds with modern musical styles. It has been described as "an interpretation of many genres" since any existing song can be arranged in a chiptune style defined more by choice of instrument and timbre than specific style elements.
Autechre are an English electronic music duo consisting of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, both from Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1987, they are one of the best known acts signed to UK electronic label Warp Records, through which all of Autechre's full-length albums have been released beginning with their 1993 debut Incunabula. Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on January 13, 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005, Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. On June 3, 2011, Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self-release future material.
Frente! were an Australian alternative rock and folk-pop group which originally formed in 1989. The original line-up consisted of Simon Austin on guitar and backing vocals, Angie Hart on lead vocals, Tim O'Connor on bass guitar, and Mark Picton on drums. In August 1991, they issued their debut extended play, Whirled, which included the track, "Labour of Love". In March 1992, they released a second EP, Clunk, with its featured track, "Ordinary Angels", which peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It was followed in October by "Accidently Kelly Street" which reached No. 4. Their debut album, Marvin the Album, issued in November, peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart. "Labour of Love" was released as an EP outside of Australasia in 1994 as a CD single with a cover version of New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle" included. The Australian rock music historian Ian McFarlane felt that the group's "quirky, irreverent, acoustic-based sound was at odds with the usual guitar-heavy, grunge trends of the day. The band's presentation had a tweeness about it that could have been off-putting if not for its genuine freshness and honesty".
"Bizarre Love Triangle" is a song by the English rock band New Order, released as a single in 1986 from their fourth studio album, Brotherhood (1986), which reached the top five on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart, and No. 5 on the Australian ARIA Charts in March 1987.

Ehron VonAllen is an American singer in the electronic pop genre, record producer, recording artist and remixer, currently based in Hollywood, California. Born Aaron Christopher Allen, VonAllen began music in a small town of 4,000 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. VonAllen's first run in with music was a concert video by Depeche Mode entitled "101". After graduating from high school, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue a music career instead of university or military, which were both seriously considered. While living in Texas, he played shows in the popular music district of Deep Ellum in downtown Dallas.

"Dream Fighter" is the 8th major single recorded by Japanese girl group Perfume for their second studio album, Triangle (2009). It was written, composed, arranged and produced by the Japanese musician and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. The single included the B-side track, "Negai", of which a remix version appeared on the parent album. It was premiered on November 9, 2008, as the second single from the album in Japan. It was released on June 19, 2013, in European and Oceanic regions, and on June 25 in North America. Musically, "Dream Fighter" is an electropop song, influenced by dance music.
"Reincarnation" is a song recorded by Japanese recording artist Ami Suzuki for her second greatest hits album, Ami Selection (2011). It was written by Emi Hinouchi and production was handled by Taku Takahashi. The track is Suzuki's first collaboration with both Hinouchi and Takahashi. "Reincarnation" premiered on February 25, 2009 as the lead single from the album. The CD and digital cover sleeve has a close-up of Suzuki hovering a GCI bubble. The DVD cover sleeve features a slightly altered version of the former.
