Revolution One is an American alternative rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, United States.
Following the breakup of his previous band, Flynova, Bryan Roach continued writing music and working on songs with Memphis producer Skidd Mills, who offered a production deal. While recording early demos, Roach played all the instruments except for drums. Roach settled on The Adored for a band name, and he started performing around the St. Louis area with fill-in musicians, occasionally including members of Greenwheel. Permanent band members were eventually selected, including drummer Matt Fine and bassist Jesse Fine, followed by guitarist Tedd Foxx. The band continued writing songs, and in 2004 they showcased at the Double Door in Chicago, where the band caught the attention of a Columbia Records rep. The Adored signed a major-label deal with Columbia Records in fall 2004. [1]
The Adored entered the studio early in 2005 to begin work on their major-label debut with producer Garth Richardson. Around the same time they also adopted the name "For the World" to avoid confusion with L.A.-based power pop band The Adored. For the World finished recording their debut full-length album with Garth Richardson, and it was later mixed by Adam Kasper. For the World toured with The Juliana Theory. KPNT began spinning "Bullet in an Angel", and the band landed a slot playing the Pointfest music festival in St. Louis. After touring for over a year as For the World, Columbia Records recommended another name change.
In mid-2006, The Adored changed their name once again to Autovein. Soon after the final name change and in the midst of preparing for the release of their major label debut, the band found themselves without their record deal and fighting for the right to release the album. Throughout this period, they continued to tour in support of the new material. In November 2006, Autovein joined Fall Out Boy and Coheed and Cambria for KPNT's annual Christmas show.
After being dropped from Columbia Records, Autovein came across Denver-based Outlook Music who signed Autovein late in 2006. Their debut album Bullets and Bruises was finally released in March 2007. "Save Me" was announced as the first single from the new album. In addition, "Bullet in an Angel" was featured on the Midwest Music Explosion Vol. 2 compilation CD. Autovein spent Spring 2007 touring in support of the new album opening for Smile Empty Soul and The Exies
Following the release of their debut album, Autovein made a couple changes to their lineup. Bassist Zack Alexopulos moved to guitarist when Chris Capaletti left the band. Brandon Armstrong, formerly of Greenwheel joined Autovein as the new bassist. Ben Miller was replaced by Andy Herrin, of One Lone Car, on drums in November 2009.
Autovein self-released their second album, Souvenirs, in November 2009. They pulled it from stores just a few months later to begin working on a proper release, but that deal never materialized.
In summer 2010, Autovein performed at both of KPNT's Pointfest music festivals in St.Louis. The band announced on stage that they had recently recorded a brand new album that will be released in January 2011.[ needs update ]
On August 24, Autovein joined Filter for a free Q101 show in Chicago at 115 Bourbon Street.
In January and February 2011, four of the band's new tracks were featured on the MTV shows World of Jenks , Teen Mom 2 , and Jersey Shore . [2]
In February 2011, Autovein announced yet another name change. The band would now be known as Revolution One. Following the name change, the band unveiled a new video for "Suicides & Lullabies". On April 20, 2011 Revolution One joined Biffy Clyro for a show at The Double Door in Chicago.

Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band that formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, composed of Simon Neil and twin brothers James and Ben Johnston. Currently signed to 14th Floor Records, they have released nine studio albums, and following their first three albums, the band expanded their following significantly in 2007 with the release of their fourth album Puzzle, which peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was awarded a Platinum certification by the BPI.
Blackened Sky is the debut studio album by Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro. Largely produced with the band by Chris Sheldon, it was released by Beggars Banquet Records on 10 March 2002. The album reached number 78 on the UK Albums Chart, and spawned four singles. A deluxe remastered edition was released in 2012, which featured, in addition to the original 12 album tracks, two songs from the band's debut extended play (EP) thekidswhopoptodaywillrocktomorrow and a number of B-sides from the album's singles.
Greenwheel was an American alternative rock band formed by friends Ryan Jordan, Brandon Armstrong, Andrew Dwiggins, Douglas Randall, and Marc Wanninger in November 1998. The band was formed in St. Charles, Missouri, in a local record shop. This group of high school bandmates were originally called Hindsight before changing their name to Soma Holiday. They released a self-titled album that same year which garnered them local attention. After this brief period, they went underground, performing only occasionally.
Modern Day Zero is a hard rock band based in St. Louis, Missouri. Formerly called Mesh—changed to Mesh STL after the name-conflict with Mesh—the band renamed and restarted as Modern Day Zero. Their single, "Sick Inside," from their first album, Coming Up for Air, spent eight weeks as the most-requested song on St. Louis-area alternative rock radio station KPNT. Modern Day Zero has had songs included in the video games NHL 2004 and NASCAR Thunder 2004 and has toured with bands such as Puddle of Mudd, Nickelback, Velvet Revolver, Hoobastank, and Guns N' Roses.
KPNT is a commercial radio station licensed to Collinsville, Illinois, and broadcasting to Greater St. Louis. It mainly airs a modern rock radio format, with some elements of active rock. It is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting.
Puzzle is the fourth studio album by Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, released 4 June 2007 – the album was later released in America in August. It is the band's first album since leaving Beggars Banquet.
Simon Alexander Neil is a Scottish singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for rock band Biffy Clyro. In 2003, Neil formed the side project Marmaduke Duke with JP Reid, releasing two studio album's The Magnificent Duke (2005) and Duke Pandemonium (2009). Another side project fronted by Neil, Empire State Bastard, released their debut studio album Rivers of Heresy in September 2023, reaching number three in Scotland, forty six in the United Kingdom, number three on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Charts and sixty-nine in Germany.
Pointfest is a large outdoor rock music festival held annually by radio station KPNT in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. Local music favorites the Urge, Gravity Kills, Story of the Year, Ludo, and Greek Fire have made several appearances as well.
"Mountains" is a song by Scottish band Biffy Clyro, released as a single on 18 August 2008. Originally released as a non-album single, it would later be included on the band's fifth studio album, Only Revolutions, in 2009. Only Revolutions is the fifth studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro, released 9 November 2009 on 14th Floor Records. As with its predecessor, Puzzle, the album was produced by Garth Richardson. Upon release, Only Revolutions was a critical and commercial success. The album entered at No. 8 on the UK Album Chart and was then certified gold by the BPI shortly afterwards. It was certified platinum by the BPI in June 2010 for shipments of 300,000 copies in the UK, making it the band's largest selling album. In September 2010, the album achieved a new peak position of No. 3. It was the 26th biggest selling album of 2010 in the UK with sales of 377,900. It was nominated for the 2010 Mercury Prize, which is awarded annually for the best album in the UK or Ireland, and Rock Sound declared it third in its list of the 75 best albums of 2009.
"Many of Horror" is an alternative rock song by Scottish band Biffy Clyro for their fifth studio album Only Revolutions. The song was released as the fourth single from the album on 18 January 2010. The song was recorded at Ocean Way Recording, Hollywood, California and mastered at Masterdisk. The lyrics of the song concern Neil's wife and family. Jacknife Lee, who previously remixed "Silhouettes" for the Biffy Clyro and Sucioperro side project Marmaduke Duke, recorded a remix for the song.
Greek Fire is an American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. The band was formed in 2008 by members of Story of the Year and Maybe Today. Since formation, Greek Fire has released a self-titled EP, a single titled "Doesn't Matter Anyway", on August 16, 2011, they released their debut, full-length album, Deus Ex Machina, and have recently announced a new addition to the Lost/Found EPs titled Broken set to be released before Found.

Revolutions: Live At Wembley is the first full-length live album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro, released on 27 June 2011 on 14th Floor Records. The album was recorded live on 4 December 2010 at the Wembley Arena date of their UK tour.
Opposites is the sixth studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro, which was released on 28 January 2013. A double album, Opposites was originally announced as a pair of albums, The Land at the End of Our Toes and The Sand at the Core of Our Bones, which later became the names of the individual discs of the album. The album features 20 songs across two discs. There is also a single disc version with 14 selected tracks. As of July 2016, the album has sold 260,720 copies in the UK.
Ellipsis is the seventh studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro. It was produced by Rich Costey and released on 8 July 2016. Ellipsis entered the UK charts at number one, making it Biffy Clyro's second number one album, after 2013's Opposites.
Balance, Not Symmetry is a soundtrack album by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro to the film of the same name, co-written by the band's frontman Simon Neil. Recorded at AIR Studios in England, Monnow Valley Studio in Wales and ICP Studios in Belgium with co-producer Adam Noble, it was released on 17 May 2019 by Warner Bros. Records. Initially available only for digital download and streaming, the album was also issued as a vinyl record on 26 July 2019.
MTV Unplugged: Live at Roundhouse, London is the third live album and second video by Scottish alternative rock band Biffy Clyro. Recorded at the band's one-off acoustic show on 8 November 2017 at the Roundhouse in London as part of MTV Unplugged, it was released on 25 May 2018 by 14th Floor and Warner Bros. Records. The video was directed by Sam Wrench, produced by Sian Larkin & Executive Produced for MTV by Jeremy Davies and Albert Schilcher. The show won Best Live Concert at the 2018 UK Music Video Awards. Four recordings from the release were issued as digital download singles.
