Reza Najfar (born 20 April 1960) is a flute player and composer from Tehran, Iran, living in Austria. Since 1992, he is professor for flute at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium in Innsbruck and the Prayner Konservatorium [1] in Vienna. [2]
Najfar studied music and flute in Tehran, Utrecht and Vienna. [3]
During his studies, he was employed as a solo-flautist at the United Stages Vienna (Vereinigte Bühnen Wien). [4]
In 2008, Reza Najfar won the "Persian Golden Lioness Award", in the category "Award for Excellence in Music", from the World Academy of Arts, Literature and Media (WAALM), which is located in London. [5]

Samuel Hans Adler is an American composer, conductor, author, and professor. During the course of a professional career which ranges over six decades he has served as a faculty member at both the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music and the Juilliard School. In addition, he is credited with founding and conducting the Seventh Army Symphony Orchestra which participated in the cultural diplomacy initiatives of the United States in Germany and throughout Europe in the aftermath of World War II. Adler's musical catalogue includes over 400 published compositions. He has been honored with several awards including Germany's Order of Merit – Officer's Cross.

Michael Blake is a South African contemporary classical music composer and performer. He studied in Johannesburg in the 1970s and was associated with conceptual art and the emergence of an indigenous experimental music aesthetic. The Sonata in E major for flute and basso continuo is a sonata for transverse flute and figured bass composed by J. S. Bach in the 1740s. It was written as the result of a visit in 1741 to the court of Frederick the Great in Potsdam, where Bach's son Carl Philipp Emanuel had been appointed principal harpsichordist to the king the previous year. It was dedicated to Michael Gabriel Fredersdorf, the king's valet and private secretary, who, like the king, was an amateur flautist.
