Charlotte "Lotte" Reiniger was a German film director and the foremost pioneer of silhouette animation. Her best known films are The Adventures of Prince Achmed, from 1926, the first feature-length animated film, and Papageno (1935). Reiniger is also noted for having devised, from 1923 to 1926, the first form of a multiplane camera. Reiniger worked on more than 40 films throughout her career.

Purgatori is a fictional comic book character, created by writer Brian Pulido and artist Steven Hughes. A crimson-skinned, winged vampire goddess, she first appeared in Evil Ernie: Revenge #1, published by Chaos! Comics. She has since appeared in books published by Devil's Due Publishing (2005–2006). The intellectual property (IP) for future works was bought by Dynamite Entertainment in May 2010. Although Dynamite Entertainment President Nick Barrucci stated they will publish new series of both Purgatori and Lady Demon, nothing came into their project regarding her appearance until recently. This October will be a new Purgatori comic series. This will not be the only new Chaos series.
Silhouette animation is animation in which the characters are only visible as black silhouettes. This is usually accomplished by backlighting articulated cardboard cut-outs, though other methods exist. It is partially inspired by, but for a number of reasons technically distinct from, shadow play.

Produced by Dimension Film, the series was established in 1995 with the eponymous first installment, The Prophecy, which has since been followed by four direct-to-video sequels. In 2005, its latest sequel The Prophecy: Forsaken was released on DVD instead of VHS.
Zola is a fictional DC Comics character, created by writer Brian Azzarello and artist Cliff Chiang. She first appeared in Wonder Woman #1, and since then as played an integral part in the series. Zola is featured as a young woman carrying Zeus' child, thus entering dangerous situations, the first one being of Hera aiming to punish her for sleeping with her husband. Wonder Woman takes Zola under her protection and tries to fight off forces that might try to harm her or her baby.
Vampirella is a 1996 American direct-to-video superhero film which was part of the Roger Corman Presents series. It was based on the Vampirella comic book.
Blair Witch Volume III: The Elly Kedward Tale is a survival horror video game and the final part of the trilogy developed by Ritual Entertainment for Microsoft Windows. The first two games of this trilogy are Blair Witch Volume I: Rustin Parr and Blair Witch Volume II: The Legend of Coffin Rock.
